This isn’t what the coaches meant when they asked him to start spraying it to all fields more.
“I don’t want to speak your language”
Go stick your head in your Happy Cake Oven.
Let’s just hope this Sanchize doesn’t do anything infamous with another man’s butt.
I really appreciate your thoughtful reply! But saying that no one is reacting to this by saying that Kaepernick should pay his respect, be grateful and keep his mouth shut is to ignore the vast majority of conservative reaction any time a black athlete speaks out or protests the government. It is just par for the…
LW media on Kaepernick refusing to show respect to his country: damn right! Good for him!
You’re are an idiot Timothy Blake.
Colin Kaepernick: “I see a huge group of people who have found an easy way to successfully shift attention and blame for their own personal failures onto something or someone else, claim immunity from objective criticism, and even be considered brave for doing so. God I hope this works.”
My bad. He was publicly against the war. *Corrected
The Straw Man that broke my back - no more Deadspin for me; tired of wondering if you’re ever able to separate state and sport over here.
They’re talking about the COUNTRY. Not the Government that runs the COUNTRY and builds the roads and polices the streets and provides the military that flies over NFL games and regulates the airwaves that play COUNTRY.
I would actually make an effort to communicate with people defending conservative political stances on the internet if more responses were like this
I’m sure others have pointed this out by now, but really every response should be similar; The National Anthem is directed at the United States - not it’s government.
I’m a conservative, and I think Colin Kaepernick should do whatever he wants to do.
Has there ever been a pre-emptive author comment on his own article that has actually been worth reading? Do everyone a favor and go work for Gawker.
I’m failing to see how the government allowed him to make those millions. And the anthem isn’t honoring our government, it’s honoring our country. I’m conservative and have no problem with him protesting in this manner, to ensenuate some sort of double standard here is a bit of a stretch.
