No it doesn’t. You don’t know what “glorifying” means. You just think it sounds dramatic. Jackie Gleason in The Honeymooners was “glorifying” domestic violence when he would threaten to send her “to the moon” when he next hit her.

Intentional fouling is great. It is always hilarious, and any discussion about removing it should address the issue that it is indeed awesome and funny.

Well, the second time, it absolutely played a role. Olbermann had a very well-publicized and nasty breakup with ESPN, and they would never have hired him back if he hadn’t remained a big name, which he did while doing politics at MSNBC.

That’s in no way “glorifying.” That’s ignoring and excusing domestic violence, and (although I hate the ease with which this phrase is used) “victim blaming.” You know what glorifying is? Glorifying is that “Jacked Up!” segment they did. That’s glorifying head injuries.

They glorify domestic violence? Perhaps they ignore it, and that has it’s own problems, but they don’t glorify it. Don’t accuse them of something they haven’t done, it makes it harder to recognize the bad shit they actually do.

Now playing

Steve Somers is the most pleasant man alive. This is a thing he did:

I find Craig funny here and there (the impressions are great, especially the bits where he gets Russo, Waldman, Francesa and Coughlin all talking to each other). But the pointless shit-stirring gets tiring. It makes him sound like every other sports radio host around the country, where he pushes something like “you

No. No, he is not.

It was awful. I finally got rid of it a couple years ago and just stuck with TuneIn radio

The best part was when he announced it was “the Italian favorite!” who was Pope. It’s the best because A) no, it wasn’t and B) he was treating it like it was fucking hawse race, like with betting lines.

Smarter people than me have pointed out that, the way Francesa phrases it, it sounds like the entire radio station will cease to exist as soon as he leaves.

Always knew Hanna-Barbera was a bunch of whitewashing bastards.

Please let this be true. It probably isn’t, but oh God, would I love it to be true.

This is the most underrated movie of all time. I have seen the “hello, real cops?” and “fully loaded with dead hookers!” scenes dozens of times, and I still laugh. I’m a teacher, and anytime we have a long field trip, I bring that movie to play on the bus ride.

thank you for this +1

For me, I realized they were the #BFIF after someone (on a Deadspin comment section even!) referred to himself (or herself) as a “twelve”. Like, they said something to the effect “I’m a twelve”.

This is a very bad take.

4. Had a friend who worked at Nordstrom, taking clothes from dressing rooms and reshelving them. They had certain incidents from unknown customers that were known as “brown outs”.

I hope this doesn’t give him a complex.
