He sounds like a real asshole, but I can at least appreciate that he hates tennis as much as I do.

Came here 15 minutes too late to remind people of this.

This is a thinking man’s joke. +1

This is why I hate when people cite “well, he was an x-time all star!” when arguing how good (or not good) a player was. Situations like this (and far worse than this) show you how useless that stat is.

I read that as “this is what happens when you try Eddy Lacy”, and I swear to you, I spent 30 seconds staring at it in an attempt to see what revenge Eddy Lacy got for being “tried”. Like, did he kick him in the nuts as he ran by? Then I realized there was a comma there. “This is what happens when you try, Eddy Lacy.”

This wasn’t a smart thing to click “publish” on.

This is so much better than the Jones catch

Why don’t they just make the whole airplane out of the black box material?

Fair, any two players. But goalies aren’t treated as other players in other rules (obviously they can use their hands, they get a goal kick on certain plays, and, somewhat confusingly, wear a different jersey). It just seems odd that they include them as just another player here.

I mean, this scenario would only come into play if the defending team was using their goalie as an offensive player, in which case, they deserve to have the other team get a rush on them, since that was part of the risk. I mean, I’m not a soccer guy, but I’ve watched dozens of matches in my life, usually during the

It has to have something to do with the goalie. The last defender is way back the whole time. And if it does have something to do with the goalie, then I honestly have no defense for this stupid rule.

Is that what the offsides accusation was for? Yeah that seems really dumb if you’re right.

I am around. I can maybe go before the games tomorrow. Def have to be home in time for the 1 games though, I'm in our fantasy finals.

Now, I’m not much of a soccer guy, but doesn’t there have to be a defender closer to the goal that the farthest advancing offensive player when the ball is passed forward (which he clearly is)? Or, does that change because the goalie was advanced up to the front? That seems like a loophole in the offsides rule.

look ma, no hands.

the state highway patrol hasn’t yet released the reason Bryant was taken into custody. WOIO says a gun and prescription stimulant Adderall were found in the car.

I’m glad you noticed this too.

I know a lot of work goes into making something look this pretty, and you give credit the very smart and experienced players, as well as their Hall of Fame coach, and therefore, you can't expect other teams to be able to accomplish this. But it should sure as fuck would be nice if they tried, instead of having their

what?

This one was my favorite. It’s so true.
