Yeah, just look at the difference between original One Piece and the version that aired on daytime TV in the US. Cigarettes turned into lollipops, guns turned into supersoakers(even though the samurai dude still slices people up with a friggin sword, and the anatomically correct line denoting the females’ cleavage(tho…
From a technical standpoint, they probably just did that to save a crapload of time and money in development by not having to produce, rig, and animate a whole other character model. Optimization issues come into play there as well when an additional character model and everything associated with it would take up too…
I think you are spot on with the “going cute” route. Maybe not semantically, but it’s kind of like how many guys will gravitate towards a more “manly” character personality/illustration (which is why we don’t see a lot of geeky string beans toting mini-guns). I feel like women and girls need or want that girly or…
you can see the wheels rotating in reverse, so in those cases it’s just player-imposed traction as soon as they touch a surface.

I loved just wandering because, in that game, there were no PVP hassles and it was therefore less of a grind to replace and replenish. Plus no common area griefing. I mean, when the game emulated these things it was a cool experience…
Well, at least now players in the boonies will finally be able to see a Pokemon while they are walking around.
yeah, pretty impressive. otherwise most of the video was just a compilation of, “whooaaa, dude check out where I landed when I screwed up on that sweet ramp we just made!”
Kind of A LOT more just falling accurately than I expected. I mean when you can alter the tilt of your vehicle mid flight, haul ass in reverse to land on a dime, and ride walls and rails (which actually was really awesome when they combo’d it up!), I thought there would be a lot more building surfing and wind turbine…
