I was on my way here just to make precisely this reference but you beat me to it so thoroughly that you must have a TARDIS.

I was just waiting for this Doctor Who reference.

One of seven, in fact.

Now playing

My favourite MCU villain if we’re counting the TV shows (I know, I know) is actually Hive. I really liked how Agents of SHIELD expanded on Hydra beyond just the Red Skull (optional expansion pack if you like - everything on the alien planet - especially the episode which was Jemma Simmons on her own for much of it,

Look at you acting like the Super Mario Bros. Movie didn’t do it first.

Trust the fungus!

Tilly’s trapped in a shroom, eh? Where have we seen this before?

Marvel Rising wasn’t...horrible. Dove Cameron has a really strong take on Spider-Gwen, and I liked Vayntrub as Doreen, and really the whole cast, everything else is a little sketchier.

My thoughts exactly.  I think you’re right that the budget cuts had a lot to do with it, so I’m hoping fewer episodes means tighter writing and lets them spread out the FX budget a bit more.

I’m hoping a shorter order helps Agents of SHIELD do less wheel spinning this season.

I am very mucho missing a strong Doctor character... like, a lot... feels like apart of the lore is missing.

If you have seen any pictures of Grandma Wang who is in her 80s but looks as if she is in her 50sI think you are right

I see no reason not to continue to expect good things for Chloe Bennett

Damn it.

How much Star Trek is too much Star Trek?

As someone who once had Harry Potter roleplay sex, complete with our officially licensed robes, scarves, and wands, and setting up our own character names, which house we belonged to, our tragic backstories that led us to boning in my apartment that we pretended was the Room of Requirement, I will not judge Jake's

Agreed - I’d also throw in her two-part appearance on Angel right after “This Year’s Girl” / “Who Are You?” (which is an often overlooked best of Buffy).

I think Faith’s storylines in the body-swapping two parter on Buffy, and then on Angel season 4, are some of the best ever TV character arcs

This article was worth it just for that recirc / related links gag at the bottom. Well played, AV Club.

Rian Johnson directed one of the best Star Wars movies ever in 2017

Stolen planets and a massive space weapon? Wasn’t that the finale of series 4?
