Could use a little more motivation for Hale. The show is trying to push her as more nuanced than, say, Malick or Kasius (who didn’t need big setups for their villainy because they each had a grand, operatic kind of goal), but they haven’t given her the setup of, say, Cal or Ward (or the gold standard, AIDA). She’s had…
Maybe I missed something and Yo Yo has thus far kept it to herself, but aren’t May or Daisy or both aware that the destruction of the world is keyed By not letting Colson die? I know they love him, but at the literal cost of the world?
“Mac, hammer, can’t touch this.” - Coulson.
When I saw the flying boat my first thought was that the only other thing it needs is a wave motion gun.
You call him WOlfgang Von Strucker. His name was Werner
According to the rules, they’d have to put Evil Jemma in a tight leather bustier.
Yeah, but I feel like because Fury had a mentor relationship with Coulson it would’ve been more poignant to have him be the guy to tell him his ideas of reality were a lie. Hill was more like a coworker.
“That was a huge missed opportunity, not least of all because Brett Dalton deserved to be in the show’s 100th episode.”

when Daisy says there’s no S.H.I.E.L.D. without him, you’re inclined to agree
Shit I forgot about the Koenigs... Now I like the episode less
Hale *is* lousy at her job. She got duped by Hunter & Fitz, murdered her only two investigators who had leads on finding Fitz again, lets her assassin daughter get away with skipping “school”, and thinks killing all of SHIELD will accomplish anything productive whatsoever.
And on alternate days, Simmonsfitz.
The show had a good run, as long as the ending isn’t rushed I can accept it finishing.
Their combined name should be Mo-Mo.
I second that, I absolutely loved Chloe Bennet acting. I don’t know why people bashed her so much in previous seasons. She’s a really good actress.
Not the best episode of SHIELD ever but landmark episodes are always tricky, the FitzSimmons wedding helped matter though! That is an earned moment is there ever was one!
I thought that this episode really worked in emotional terms - it was a love letter to everyone we have come to know and love on this show, from Coulson and his surrogate daughter Daisy, to Fitz and Simmons finally getting a happy ending after everything they’ve been put through (and even if that happy ending might…
