Me like Sherlock, but it honestly not bad thing if show take break for few years. Freeman once posited that show could revisit these two characters every few years as they get older and catch them in different stages of life, and me really like that idea. So me do hope they make more. But show crawled too far up own…
Honestly, I would love it if Saru was the captain. We have literally never had a starship captain in the lead role who wasn’t human, and I think that’s a damn shame. Saru can be the first officer and still be the focus of the show. But it would be nice, for once, to have a captain who isn’t human. Because for all the…
It’s pretty clear in the earlier episodes that they were stretching this arc out to at least half the season to save money due to the budget cuts. Hence the Jemma as one of Kasius’s servant, Mack and Yo-Yo stayed behind in the Lighthouse........etc. which makes this arc drags as it goes.
Well I think the Ghost Rider pod is a bit weak and the season (4) finale is rushed, but otherwise it is a solid and tight season as it benefits from breaking into 3 pods.
That’s why they have Coulson with a featureless hand, May heavily injured from the get go, and Daisy powerless, because otherwise the team would have won already.
I agree it’s gone on too long. I find myself tired of Kasius and ready for him to go, and I’m someone who loves villains. I’m genuinely surprised at my own feelings on this. He doesn’t seem any kind of real threat to me and I have no doubt the team can beat anything he throws against them, so just do it already.
I must have low expectations, because I found the whole Ascent of the Zephyr sequence absolutely thrilling. Between the solid stuntwork between Daisy and Sinara punctuated by bouts of zero-gravity aerobatics, and the pretty damn solid visual effects of the stormy hellscape outside of the Zephyr, I was pretty blown…
I wish we could have 1 Darin Morgan X-Files episode every year. Surely Gillian could agree to that? Not a full season, just that episode.
In case you are scoring at home, the opening sequence mashed-up Twilight Zone episodes “Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up?” and “The Howling Man.” The jolly cadence of the short order cook and makeup on the Satan character were eerily spot on.
“Some people fervently remember seeing a movie called Shazam, with Sinbad playing an irrepressible genie. They’re probably thinking of a movie called Kazaam, with Shaquille O’Neal playing an irrepressible genie.”
I liked it. Reggie was kind of a cross between Danny Strong on Buffy and Jack Black on Community. I kept waiting for the Berenstein Bears to come into, was not disappointed.
*Lorca kicks dude’s head in*
Prime Lorca died from a rare disease. So his father crossed over to the mirror universe and stole Mirror Lorca as a baby. This imbalance has caused the problems with the mycelium network and many freakish or “fringe” events are occurring in both universes. Lorca’s dad also did experiments on Michael Burnham and Paul…
Yeah, I think they did a pretty good job of giving all of Lorca’s questionable actions an alternative explanation. He’s driven to win the war, he’s suffering from PTSD, etc.
No, Saru is still back on the Shenzhou. Burnham are the one the Emperor offered her to pick from the three that were there as a gift. She assumed she was picking a new slave, when it was really more like the lobster tank and a restaurant.
Missed opportunity for an Emperor’s New Groove joke in the headline.
If that’s the case, they weren’t terribly successful. The “Lorca is from the Mirror Universe” fan theory has been equally prominent all year.
Nope, your screener wasn’t edited. It really was that short.
