Yep, looks like Flash. I’m not down with Flash. Did you see what it did to Arthur? Eew.

Dee was fabulous in Supernatural! Mildred was so much fun, kicking ass, flirting with Dean, giggling with Eileen...

THE AV CLUB

Having heard Kristen Schaal voice little kids like Mabel Pines and Louise Belcher, it’s kind of unsettling to hear her offer to put out a fire “with my boob”. I think it’d be less weird if it were Schaal in the flesh - the first thing I ever saw her in was ‘Flight of the Conchords’, where she could get pretty freaky -

Just a fist.

Wakka wakka, who wants to hear a funny-ass joke?

Other than the food situation, there’s nothing that bugged me more about this sentient animal world than the implication that Garfield still exists as a well known fictional character. Is he just a lazy fat guy? In this world a cat eating lasagna isn’t abnormal.

I watched this episode last night (in order to keep up with these reviews!) and... “I wanna be an architect” punched me in the gut. I wonder how much of the story Bob-Waksberg and the writers have planned ahead?

Once again, I just find myself not disliking these early eps as much as other people. Yeah, this is not a “significant” episode, and it is mainly just a bunch of stuff that happens. And admittedly, they don’t really know what to do with Todd just yet. But I enjoyed it: I like BoJack’s pettiness and raging

Good on him! Taking a socially conscious stand publicly and forcing producers’ hand like this is admirable. I didn’t know who Ed Skrein was before he gave up a role in a movie I hadn’t planned to see, but I’ll remember him in the future—surely he’s caught the fair eye of some in the industry as well.

Emma Stone and Scarlett Johansson should double up?

I think I’m broken, because I don’t have anything cynical to say about this. Good job, guy? I approve? That doesn’t sound like me!

I kind of wish I stuck with Agents of SHIELD long enough to see that twist. It sounds like a good one. But at this point I know it’s coming, and contrary to the findings in this study I’m not terribly interested in watching it to “savor the machinations more.”

I think TV will always be better than movies at twists, only because they have so much more time to build it up. The twist with Ward in Agents of SHIELD, in my opinion, saved that show and made a very bland character a lot more interesting. And the twist in The Good Place makes that show WAY different upon your second

I won’t forget the AV Club shitting on Bojack Horseman very early and, this review feels like a like try to soften/validate those early reviews. Personally, I think that first episode works really well. I don’t think Bojack really improved so much as we, the viewers, learned how to appreciate it. We were

Of all the things to not be Pending...

PENDING APPROVAL

Not on Luke Cage apparently. I don’t think there were any f-bombs in any of the 6 Netflix Marvel seasons we’ve seen so far, but there was a lot of “shit” and even “bullshit” I think.
