I think Handlen or somebody may have made that joke before at some point. God help us that Spock has become Poochie.

Well technically that last one is more of a TNG thing that connected to a TOS thing but yeah they’d probably end up doing something with that.
Well since she’s in Far From Home I’d say the odds are good.
Neil wrote the season premiere if that is what you were thinking of.
Yeah I thought that dude looked familiar. Was thinking of 3XK just a few days ago weirdly enough.
Hey Requiem for Methuselah was pretty good!
I mean to be fair VOYAGER had some pretty notable highs themselves. There are episodes that rank with some of the best Trek out there. And The Doctor and Seven were pretty cool most of the time. Plus they hands-down had the best holodeck program with Captain Proton.
I had actually completely forgotten that he was ever in this show until my sister was rewatching S1 this year. Granted BNN isn’t really a show you really do back with for lore details but I would have thought that would stick in my mind somewhere.
THIS IS A FAKE
Well at least that answers your question. https://news.avclub.com/amcs-getting-out-of-into-the-badlands-while-the-getting-1832497694
Yeah Hive was pretty great. I’m not sure if he’s my favourite but I think he’s a bit underrated by some folks. People generally view him as someone just replacing Ward or just as a means to keep Ward around longer. I think it manages to kind of strike the balance by usurping the original character of Ward before…
Hopefully they aren’t getting the shaft after that one other 44 min Iron Heart short premieres.
Well the joke could make sense if we were talking about how the ABC heads disliking it have caused a crap tonne of problems lately (and S5 not being that great, weakest in my view) but I doubt the OP was thinking that far ahead.
Given ABC’s treatment of the Marvel brand this doesn’t come as much of a shock. If they had their way SHIELD would have been gone a while ago. At least we’ve got two more 13 episode seasons. If we get more I’d imagine Disney Plus might have to get involved.
It’s a little unclear if fewer episodes means they would still get the same budget they got from the 22 for S5 but I think at the very least not having to stretch out the story as much with less money would probably be beneficial.
Yeah there have been a crazy amount of hiatuses in recent memory. I mean on the one hand people get busy and there’s usually outside factors at play (and if they want to set up time for a good ending fair enough) but it’s just the frequency is getting a bit high for my taste.
Yeah that was definitely an issue with S5. I actually think S2-4 managed fine but with the budget cuts and the need to try and provide a decent ending things got really messy with 5. Here’s hoping S6 (and S7) offers a stronger return
For me it’s currently like Supernatural, Agents of SHIELD and Brooklyn Nine Nine (although the first cut down to 20, the second is on hiatus and will be doing 13 for the conceivable future and the latter is currently at 18 episodes for this season).
I guess he’ll be back in some capacity soon enough but yeah they didn’t really do much with him.
I’d say I prefer Ward to Tyler at this point because SHIELD seemed a bit more committed and focused on their vision for him. Like when he went full rogue it actually had a notable impact in the story and the characters of S1 whereas with Tyler in S1 it felt like kind of an after thought (probably not helped by the…
