Hiro Mashima’s art designs are so samey, I didn’t realize I was looking at Edens Zero instead of Fairy Tail. This is about more of the same to me.

This was my favorite game of last year (barring Hades, which must be barred), but it is such an emotionally complete experience that the idea of revisiting it for marginal DLC releases is almost nauseating to me. Maybe years and years from now when it’s faded substantially. How will they collect data on you to sell to others if you’re not constantly online? How will they show you that you don’t really own the thing you paid for if they can’t take it away from you at any time? 

Has Microsoft ever said that though? They’ve always been pretty heavily involved in government and PAC donations.

What? Nier isn’t available on EGS and even if it was, it would be the same as the Steam version minus the useful Steam features. Square Japan has proven itself to be pretty incompetent. Just look at how they handled the Dragon Quest XI Definitive Edition fiasco.

This article feels kind of gross. Like, I get the whole angle of helping people save money or w/e, but I feel like going “You should not buy this game (which we think is kinda fun!) because it’s on a streaming service.” is one of the actual boogeymen scenarios that streaming cynics point out. 

Talking about the game, playing it in public spaces (twitch) where it is recorded, documenting it and disassembling it because it helps to know the game better, not just to find exploits, encouraging other people to play it does a huge service to preservation.

So they are "fixing" the only non-complicated and smartly implemented part of their progression system?

I hear the console is going to be called the uDraw 2.
