Yeah - you’re good at math! ;)

These people are clearly asshats... No place in society for them. Track ‘em down and apply the full force of the law they pretend to enforce...

“ThunderPig.” A 1997 D90 Wagon sold to fund an engagement, wedding and kids. It’s the best “trade” I’ve made... but if I could get her back, would do!

Neutral - increase the “gas guzzler tax?” Add trucks to the list? For every MPG (combined) below certain thresholds in each vehicle category, “X” amount is charged? But, use the taxes for infrastructure? However, once everyone’s driving Volts (or equiv) and only fueling once a year, how do the roads get maintained

and quietly... if it’s a PHEV!

“If you run into an asshole in the morning, you ran into an asshole. If you run into assholes all day, you’re the asshole.” -Raylan Givens, Justified

I was at the BMW M5 performance school (came with my ‘00 if memory serves) in Spartanburg in 2000; they previewed “Star” (before it was released online/dvd) literally moments before handing us the keys... None of us immediately (cough) spun out or did anything silly (cough)... promise.

Back in the day, “Chargepoint America” through Coulomb Technologies contacted Volt owners and offered them free chargers. It was networked for 3 years or so and then that feature became disabled... but it still charges the car every night! (“This is made possible by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act through

@RoRo, Ahhh.. I got the free Caddy charger too... (It’s at my office). I thought you were referring to the free charger from the gub’mnt they offered in late ‘10/early ‘11. Got that one at home!

I did get the free Charger. “Thanks Obama!” ;)

@ BigJayDogg3, I originally leased figuring there would be teething issues on the early (late ‘10/early ‘11) Volt... However, ZERO problems with annual visits to the dealer for tire rotations and (un-necessary) oil changes.

I too had a Gen 1 volt for 3 years, then the ELR now... 15k miles to a tank of gas and 1 fill up in 18 months... (I have chargers at home and work). Next? Ct-6 plug-in or plug-in Panamera are fun choices (kids w/ legs)... i8 is what calls to me. Will probably do same thing you did: Gen 2 volt. How do you like the Gen

My kids will be thrilled... they were almost subjected to the rear seats of an i8. (Wait, perhaps they would be OK with that?) This may suffice quite nicely! (At least until the Mission-E eventually arrives.) A plug-in choice that could still be fun! There may be no financial logic to get a plug-in, but the time saved

“Come at me bro!”

Fixed it for you...

i8. All the trimmings. Carbon Fiber and Aluminium? Check. Super-model and/or outrageous looks? Check. Ridiculous option prices? Check. Large price-tag? Check. Frickin Laser Beams for headlights? Check. Plug-in hybrid, three cylinder... Che... wait, what?

Alfa 8c Competizione... in Competition Red with red twisted interior. And throw in the matching luggage while you’re at it.

What “world” option do you select? I see what the descriptions are, but having seen none from the inside, I don’t know what it really means... just cosmetic choices? (the for-sale ones online tout they have “this world” or “that world”)...

Or perhaps... it was Tom all along!

Love that you actually drive it like it should be driven... Always! There is a competition red with red twisted guts somewhere in VA that I lust after... maybe someday. Enjoy!
