    I think people can demand a company not publish an author. If congress does that, it's a first amendment problem. But people absolutely can do it.

    OK, you're right, a better wording might have been, "a majority of Americans under 30 have a more favorable view of socialism than of capitalism" because the polls did not ask to directly compare.

    And yet, Democrats don't hold the Senate. Or the House. Or the presidency. Or a majority of governorships. Or either legislative chamber in 32 states because they've lost 900 state legislature seats since 2009.

    Glenn Beck published his book, It IS About Islam right about the same time that Samantha Bee and her husband started working to keep their kids' school segregated.

    A majority of Americans under 30 favor socialism over capitalism, and Sanders (who, to be fair, is a democratic-socialism-New-Dealer and not a workers-own-the-means-of-production-socialist) beat Clinton ~85-15% among young people.

    Why do Democrats try so desperately hard to make friends with "reasonable" Republicans like Megyn "Santa is white" Kelly and David "Axis Of Evil" Frum, but still do everything they can to shut out socialists?

    Or if there were some kind of a game show where you could launch neo-Nazis out of a cannon into helicopter blades and win prizes.

    I'm not even being contrarian when I say that I see Trump's awful policy prescriptions & behavior as completely normal and within-type for the current Republican party. He's just taken away the coded language and facade of ideological principle.

    At the very least, their announced, non-hidden plan is to make the push for privatizing medicare the first thing they try. So if you're home for the holidays and your (grand)parents use it, sit down with them and write a letter to their reps saying they don't want it messed with.

    Maybe, but I think at least a big part of it is that she seems to really believe that she's some kind of bold cultural leader. Mischa Barton can do something obnoxious without quite the same level of criticism partially because Mischa Barton doesn't claim some leadership role in the progressive/feminist vanguard.

    I thought it was this: a fetus has original sin, but has not been washed away with baptism yet, so they end up in purgatory. I thought that was the same policy if very young living, breathing babies that have not yet had baptism die. (not being ironic or joking, but also not certain this is actually correct)
