When Keanu and Rachel Weitz outrun a nuclear explosion on a motorbike, that is peak 90s "flee the fireball" ridiculousness.

Yeah, boy. Hook was so awful that in the theater where I saw it, a bunch of rowdy kids running up and down the aisles fell right to sleep a third of the way through.

Hee. You missed when Van Damme later cold-cocked a rattlesnake in the face. ;)

Gah—The Saint was excruciating. That. Movie. Would. Not. Fucking. End.

VH was so drably horrible it forever cured me of seeing bad movies for the laughs.

The Shadow came close—looked great and had a near-perfect cast. But the script was too shallow. And as the MST3K boys noted, Baldwin couldn't quite pull off the "no, I'm really a sinister warlord and not a guy from Massapequa" part of the TS's character.

Eheheheh. A friend called the latter the "League Of Extraordinary Conference Rooms."

Hush, you. Worth it for Alan Rickman, the King of Thieves.

A point given for "How's your leg?" though. ;)

Gets a point or two for Meryl's disco SWEET BIRD OF YOUTH B'way disaster at the beginning. Now Zemeckis should have been stopped for POLAR EXPRESS.

It is also a working definition of the "Devil's Candy" principle: material that looks like it would make a great movie, but is essentially unadaptable.

Ehehehehe. TH did spawn a hilarious Rifftrax. But it was appalling just from the "what happened to M. Night's skills with actors?" angle alone.

Yes, God. I have no real excuse for seeing that in a theater. It was most entertaining, however, to see kids buy tix to WWW, then sneak into SOUTH PARK.

No. You decidedly weren't. Have never been able to get through it.

Sudeikis was actually quite good as Jesse Owens' manager in RACE.

Didn't think anything could be worse than COOL WORLD—until MONKEYBONE came out.

Eheheh. A guy I was dating at the time wanted to see BULWORTH over GODZILLA. I agreed—and was so glad I did.

I saw David Morrissey in BI2 before I saw his terrific DOCTOR WHO turn. He was so awful in the former, I was wondering what anyone initially saw in him.

Hee. I'm old enough to nominate WILD WILD WEST and 1970's GAS-S-S-S as my worst theater experiences. Oh, and HOOK. Generations unite over bad movies. ;)

Um…how did you two finally break up? (If it's not too painful a memory, that is…)
