I recently played through the Mega Man Gameboy series. That team had an innate understanding of what made Mega Man work. Ok, Mega Man II (GB) had some missteps, but its easy enough that I still give it a pass because it’s still a good intro to someone who’s never touched a MM game before. MMI has a pretty high amount

Empathy yes, I joke because of the stories I’ve heard about how he wanted to get to know literally every single person he met on a personal level.  Interviewers tell stories of how he would take pictures with them, asking as many questions of them as they did of him, and then a few days later, in the mail they’d get a

Monkey limit, humans can only form a small handful of truly meaningful connections, something like 150 or so last I read.

Not exactly what I had in mind.  All this talk about a classic server, to me, misses the mark entirely.

At the very least, they do deserve some credit. Not as a matter of law (I don’t think you can copyright a dance move), but as a matter of courtesy and kindness.

Thank you for the responses everyone. I had stopped playing after Mists anyway, so this basically means that yes, they had to do a stat squish. Maybe right from the start they should have had the 1-60 stats be very tiny numbers, like Super Mario RPG small, or even Paper Mario small. “OMG, I just did 9 damage!” small.

Wait, didn’t they already do “the big squish” a couple expansions ago?  They had to do it again?

The arcade game is pretty fun, its just a shame that like so many arcade games, it’s difficulty level depends entirely on how much loose change you have.  It’s true, arcade games are basically the earliest version of “pay to win”, and the most direct and honest about it.

That was the joke Ted.

Bowser apparently disowned all his other 7 kids though. He plays favorites, he’s a bad father.

I have to be the only person that wasn’t all that impressed with the Scarecrow level in this game. I didn’t really feel any of the fear the game insisted I was feeling, probably because it was so overblown to the point of parody. I prefer subtly.

Well I mean, he’s a Japanese businessman who got his start in the 80's.  If he didn’t smoke, literally none of those things could be true.

Yes, “inspired by” Tim Burton.

What’s so weird about that? I eat orangutans all the time.

I would love to say it’s the esports culture, because I never really wanted to treat my favorite hobby like a sport in the first place, and I never put any effort into “legitimizing” it (whatever that means). I get a lot more joy out of watching some speedrunner get a new best time on Link to the Past than I do from

I thought England was a bit more reserved than us, but this, this looks straight out of Monty Python. Japan aren’t the only ones confused by this.

I always thought Venture Bros was far better than Rick & Morty anyway, and was better animated at that.

They read your comment, made a comment, To Be Continued.

Are you fictional?

I am just a bit disappointed that invisible walls were put around some of those portrait islands, like the one in the mushroom kingdom. The game is generally so open that I think just maybe people should have just been allowed to play around with that if they so wished to.
