No erector set pieces? What a gip!

No erector set pieces? What a gip!

It really helps that the XBox 360 was part of a generation of consoles that didn’t allow bare-metal access to games. While it makes it harder to “perfectly optimize” games for the hardware, it does mean that emulation basically just means emulating the 360 OS and it’s hardware calls. It certainly works a LOT better

Not sure either, but that wasn’t quite the same since it emulated the surrounding ad material more than the PS1 interface itself.

Brings back memories of opening the disc and messing with the “disc close” button on my 5001 model to get it to read discs, and also buying a brand new PS1 (7501) when that one finally died, months before the PS2 came out.

This read a bit too much like an ad, but if it’s free I’ll get this one. A PS1 theme built to look like that rainbow splashed interface would be nice too. Also, a PS3 “wave background” theme.

That looks pretty bad.

This just in: Researches have discovered that the sound design intentionally put in games to add audio cues to help players play the game, work as audio cues to help players play the game.

Ah c’mon just because he likes to write fancy doesn’t mean he thinks he’s better than you.

“The last creature on Gaia’s weathered face” was a pretty clever way to phrase it though. PA’s got the writing down, you have to admit.

Part of it is. Note that no one’s claiming every last note is identical. However the part in question isn’t based on a past Final Fantasy game, it’s literally “This is Halloween” with different lyrics, as is apparent to even the most casual observer that doesn’t have a misplaced sense of loyalty.

Or, is literally ALL modern music ^^

The main theme sounds identical. The refrain is different I’ll grant you, but COME ON.

Now playing

No 3rd party music of any kind? Quick, someone tell the lead music writer for the game!

I’m seriously wondering what that online component will be like. Are they planning something like the Souls online system? That could be interesting in a cyberpunk setting.

Are they going to stop trying to turn players into payers?

Looks the same to my undiscerning eye. I’m not the one to understand the subtle differences between dragons and wyverns.

Fair enough! I’m mainly making a jab at the underlying concept of the article. I don’t care too much where this bizarre nonsensical running came from. It might even date back to some neanderthal with a brain injury that forgot how to move their arms for all I know.

I hate to break it to you, but that’s the Sonic run. I guess some ninja show also uses it.

While I was able to play Sonic Mania well enough with 4 buttons as a d-pad substitute, I would still love to see the real thing.

I wanted Bubsy to be good for one reason. I like cats.
