Name two successful pro drivers that made it without millions in funding, within the past 20 years.

In no particular order;

When will the Scirocco be loved as much as these piles? A good, clean one can be had for equal or less money. I don’t see the downside to owning and driving a much better car that still has that ‘cult following’ as those bubble-butt crap cans.

From personal experience, non-profit means that you or the consumer doesn’t see the money... I’m sure your boss’s boss does though.

Don’t really get why BMW drivers get a hard time around here. It’s an enthusiast site, I’d wager a larger percentage of BMW owners are enthusiasts compared to Civic drivers, for example. Probably also more likely to track their cars and be “better” drivers.

Older SVT Lightnings have held their value very well, as a comparison. Clean, non-work trucks at least.

I’ve seen so much of this, dd’ing soccer moms. My guess is that it’s either a tax write-off for a business owner, or its the “nicer” vehicle in the stable and wifey gets to drive the nicer vehicle.
