without being able to safely nominate a replacement, I refuse to accept that the macbook air is a breakthrough device. mac app store? that is a bad thing, not an advantage. I can see how it would be useful for some people to have one, but it is not what i would choose to remember 2010 by.

As someone who reads gizmodo more days than not, I find myself frequently disappointed at how little of what I read applies to me here in Greece.

I guess it all comes down to if your parents are actually your friends or not (generalised). If you talk to them the same way you talk to your friends, add them. If not, dont.

While this is not true all the time (eg. vlc, any linux distro -hell, any open source software) it certainly does apply to a lot of very widely used free products. Plus, it sounds pretty cool.
