Yeah, we are in season 5 now and it is a bit of a slog. I’m ready for the main character’s arc to finish up already. I haven’t had a chance to get going with the Originals - there’s just too much good TV and too little time at the moment. It is on my “future” watching list though.

I’m a big fan of “feeling your money”. In the digital age, this is much harder - so I substituted manual entry of purchases. If you the purchase in on your smartphone at the point of purchase, you can have it entered in before the receipt finishes printing!
Microsoft was in the financial software market for a while with Microsoft Money. They discontinued it a few years back. It was a sad day. I still dislike using Quicken.
I am a huge fan of YNAB - I probably mention them everytime there’s an article on budgeting on Lifehacker. That said, I just can’t get behind the subscription model. That was really a disappointment. These days it seems like everything is going subscription-based.
