The time they spent engineering this could have been spent engineering a way to make the phone force a horizontal video no matter which orientation it’s being held in. Phone sensors have the pixels to do this with room to spare. There’s no excuse.

It’s not anything complicated. Most of the ones I’ve seen are a little clip that fits over your throttle handle, and rests against the top of the brake. The clip grips against the throttle, and when you find your preferred throttle position, you set the clip against the brake and it won’t let the throttle roll back.
