Rebadge the thing, make it a Toyota or a Subaru, problem solved. If I had a FR-S, the GT86 rebadge would have taken place on the first day of ownership. Not many brands have less cachet or equity to me than Scion, and their stupid commercials make it worse.

I think you'll find the wheels do in fact fit in the wheel wells with no obvious modification. The ones that have to be lifted to accommodate 26-30 inch wheels are the ones that look terrible.
