Remember when he did the same thing when Betty wore a bikini? It was awful.

No that's what's infuriating. If he had treated any other partner with the same disdain as Joan, he would be toast. But here he'll probably be promoted. Roger and the old guy loved his obnoxiousness.
I'd pick being on Dancing With the Stars. I'd freaking love to learn how to dance like that.
Same here! WTF is up with this dream? Is it my subconscious telling me that LIFE IS A TEST or some crap?
I had houseguests that bought that HoneyCrisp apple (they're rich), and I accidentally swiped a piece after slicing it up for my kids. Cue instant love affair.
Your mom is amazing. AMAZING. I wonder if things like the Steubenville event would happen if more mothers would smack their kids' faces every time they made that kind of comment.
I try to talk to my kids about safety. It's a testament to this day and age that my kids' school doesn't have tornado and fire drills, they have SAFETY drills. Meaning, what happens if some teenager swipes his stupid parent's gun and decides to start shooting kids. They have the whole "lock the door, hide in the…
Say things like, “It’s OK to cry. Everyone needs to cry sometimes. I’ll be right here to listen to you.” You might even try verbalizing the feelings your child might be having, “You’re really disappointed that we can’t go to the park right now, huh?”
Also, good call on the Sociologist Marketing Analyst being self-actualized Betty. What was her name again? I just remember hating her because of her accent.
I'm not so sure Trudy is a victim, but she's very similar to Betty. She had Daddy issues, was a spoiled pampered brat, and is just more vocal about her anger at Pete than Betty was. It's not a maturity thing, it's a personality thing.
Exactly. Don cheating has never been a statement about the women he's with, but always a statement about what kind of man he is. I understand that many women want to demonize Betty in order to excuse Don, but regardless of whether you like Betty, she did nothing to deserve or encourage Don's behavior. .
I have always bitterly rejected the notion other people have that his cheating was ever about his unhappy marriage with Betty. His marriage was unhappy because he made her unhappy. She was, in many respects, the perfect wife. Maybe not the perfect parent, but she and Don are well matched in this regard.
Highly disagree with you. Notice how teacher and childcare assistants don't need any degree, but the main teacher and operators of a childcare should.
Totally. My boons are bigger, my rob cage is larger, my weight is the same.
I think you shouldn't have put on makeup for your passport. Because what's reality after an international flight in coach? :)
Caillou's mom already hates him. Notice how she's always taking a nap and she's never around?
No, the worst toy ever made are those damn playmobils. You know what I mean. The ones that cost $800 for essentially legos that kids cannot possibly construct themselves. They have teeny pieces that sneak away from your playtime and then rush to place themselves directly under your feet at 3am on top of a staircase.
Yep. Zofran is like five times the price, though there is a generic. Also, zofran was an anti-emetic given to cancer patients, and BenedEctin is a bit on the lighter side.
She never should have had children, but there are glimpses of a really kind, compassionate Betty throughout the seasons. This episode really had her being very compassionate and understanding to a teenaged Sandy. And her advice was pretty spot on.
I thought Peggy was awful this show. She was cutting to everyone who worked for her, which is exactly the reason why she left her previous job. I mean, I know she wants to be Don, and all of us think she's this huge feminist icon, but that's no reason to treat your underlings like crap.
