The circle of life. . .

Yep. Just reading about the latest fundraiser by George Clooney for Obama brings this home. $15,000 for dinner! And then another $5000 for pictures, and another $1000 for pre-dinner hor d'oeuvres.

You know, I will never understand what makes people so party-subservient. It's like you have to glamorize the Democratic party in order to illustrate that everyone in the Republican party is evil and wrong.

Do tell! I'd love to hear some!

Now playing

I wouldn't go so far as to say Ann Romney is likeable. She's not very relatable, but then again, I never really "liked" any of the first ladies, nor related to any of them. But all of them, at one time or another, have gained a bit of admiration from me for some of their thoughts and ideas. I really think we can

Heh. It's not that noticeable to others, but I went from a 32 bra band to a 34, and some of my really narrow pencil skirts had to be given away. It doesn't mean that I don't look good in pencil skirts (well, I don't, but that's because my butt is Kardashian-esque), but it means that I had to buy a different type of

What many comments fail to mention is that the quality of sperm is most easily measured because it's abundant and relatively painless to obtain some. It's probable that women's gonads are also affected. But the fact that sperm and egg quality is declining might also do well to explain the rise in autism,

And being rich precludes someone from being the president because...?

You know, I'm voting democrat, I'm voting for Obama because of the war on women played out in the Republican field. And I was prepared to hate Ann Romney's speech because I'm angry at her husband, and I was prepared to hate her because. . . I hate her husband.

She did mention it, as other commenters have said, but her job up there on the podium wasn't to trot out political promises, only to humanize her husband. In that respect, she did a fairly good job. And she did say that no one has a storybook life, not even her with all her advantages.

To be fair, Barbara Bush wasn't really all that practical, but she shut up and barely ever said a word in public, and she was so much older looking that she was non-threatening to a lot of women. I mean, the woman was rich if not richer than Ann Romney, and she gets zero flak for it.

Thank you! No one realizes that when you actually DO try to cut calories while you're nursing, you don't really lose weight, but your breastmilk dries up.

Minibar charges for the 47 days: $3,145.07. The highest daily tab ... July 1st — $502.43!!!

circumsized men would be in constant pain from rubbing up against their clothing.

Having gone through this four times, I can tell you that pregnancy is strange. Two of my kids (the first and the third), I ate what I ate, healthily and with no exercise due to pregnancy problems, and as soon as I had the baby, boom! I looked amazing.

First of all, this whole "women's metabolism is twice as fast" doesn't really make sense when you account for:

CONSUMERISM! You must exchange a ton of your OLD BAD CLOTHES for tons and tons of NEW BAD CLOTHES! That cost more than your yearly mortgage!

You're totally right. I'm going to trust you implicitly over the research and analysis of all the physicians at the WHO and the American Academy of Pediatrics, in addition to various scientists who published peer-reviewed articles.

I wanted to craft a similar response, but you've done my work for me!

Maybe we're asking the wrong questions. What do these women have in common, besides their husband's political ambitions? Their career choice. When female attorneys are faced with the prospect of staying home with the kids or maintaining their "high powered" careers, why do they choose the former?
