Thank you, anyone who wants a Chinese owned company installing untested admin level rootkits is welcome to it, but I sure as hell am not.

A roootkit from a Tencent owned company, what could go wrong

A Morality is a finishing move in Mortal Kombat, wherein one character explains to another (their defeated opponent) the perils of using violence to resolve conflicts.

Whether you think that or not, antagonism won’t be helpful. If you resort to exactly what you decried earlier, just to sate your petty need for revenge, are you not as toxic as you said they were?

I’m sorry, maybe I’m not reading the statement correctly and I don’t get that this is sarcasm, but this is just not true. Circumstantial evidence is still evidence.

Biden sure as shit does not “align” with Sanders on any policy. He’s slightly better than Trump, and that’s it.

McEnany also accused Obama of vacationing during the murder of Daniel Pearl, who was beheaded by terrorists six years before Obama was elected president.

I mean, Biden’s entire pitch, the entire reason for his candidacy, was his electability. If some snarky blogs and tweets from people who just wish he would be better are enough to jeopardize his chances, it sure seems like the entire basis for his candidacy was a lie.

Just an absolutely amazing job of coalition building here.

Turn out what voters? Even in primaries Bernie got trounced in, he got 15-35% of the vote. Those are people who actually voted, in a Democratic primary. I’m guessing it is not in Biden’s game plan to lose 15-35% of DEMOCRATIC voters, actual Democratic voters.

I mean, he doesn’t have to.  But presumably he’d like to win in November, right?  His path to victory probably doesn’t involving failing to turn out a significant portion of left-leaning voters, but you never know.

WNBA players should be paid more—probably more than double what they’re paid now. However, even if there were parity between the percentage of league revenue paid to WNBA and NBA players, respectively, there would still be a huge dollars-and-cents wealth gap.

Burns is the guy who got someone to drive him to the finish line. Grandpa’s the guy who took a nap in the middle of the race. Homer’s the guy who got drunk, took rat poison, and hallucinated his way to an unlikely win.

It’s so insane to me how bad medical knowledge was. Drinking alcohol instead of water is so obviously stupid. I'm constantly surprised at how anyone survived back then

From what I read from this article it seemed the most entertaining. They should do a movie based in it.

Why are we supposed to be offended/angry about the “Imagine” video, again? Is it because of Gal Gadot? Isn’t she the new Hollywood villainess because she’s from Israel or something? Man, I hate when I miss the memos of who the 2 Minute Hates are to be directed at this week.*

The really frightening thing is that the depiction of the mother isn’t too far off from how she really looked:

Given that this is family-targeted film that was budgeted for theatrical release, I can’t be too sore about charging $20 for (potentially) 2-5 people to be able to watch it at once (and multiple times, if your kids are so inclined for that 24-hour period), rather than instantly making it equivalent to a

Hey, in Return of the Jedi all of the sudden Luke and Leia are siblings because why the hell not. The whole saga is filled with shit like this, why get upset now? Let’s just try to have fun with movies about spaceships and magic warriors with laser swords.

Started rewatching Ross yesterday and it’s actually better than I remembered. Light and fast entertainment. The problem I think is that people have an almost religious devotion to the original trilogy, and if something Star wars doesn’t meet those absurdly lofty goals then it’s called “lousy”. At least it sticks to
