There’s some DLC that adds a series of memories to this game, but it was preorder exclusive, in the US. In Japan, it’s free. I ended up changing my profile region, downloading it, then waiting the 3 month period to change my region back just to get it. It’s a very frustrating thing when preorder exclusive DLC,

I’m going to skip out.  I missed out on the preorder exclusive scenes and so the completionist in me will never be satisfied.

Tetris does.  In all modern interpretations there is a creepy dead fallen piece that perfectly shadows the piece about to fall. almost like a prediction of it’s demise.  Sppooooooky!  I’m ascared!

Speaking of Zelda II, I really wish that Nintendo got an exclusive level ending with a battle against Link and Shadow Shovel Knight or  ”Shavel Knight” as I will now dub it.

That- shouldn’t even be possible, in ANY video game! The fact that he somehow accomplished that is an indictment of EVERYONE involved, from the game company to the leadership in China to this fool and his money.

After this, Code Veronica, 0, and REBirth could use the treatment.  That should cover every “tank controls” era of Resident Evil.  I’d ask for the same for early Silent Hill games (1-4) but well, Konami is a walking skeleton at this point so that’s not going to happen.

It’s a standard Japanese trope. The REAL crime is societal upheaval when no one wants it. THAT’S what makes him a villain.

You can imagine how a social justice warrior like myself views such an attitude.

(Not well.)

So- what you’re saying is the job market in Pokemon is pretty much like the Flintstones.

Farfetch’d being used as a lamp shade: “Eh, it’s a living”.

Bioware is fighting for it’s life here.  This and Dragon Age 4 are their attempt to avoid being shuttered by EA.  Now, could the game actually be saved by this?  Sure, I mean if all else fails toss a world ending dragon at the problem and rebuild the game from scratch.

Sooo disappointed in Outer Worlds with it’s lack of a surprise mechanic, if this game doesn’t let me play a little gambling on the side for random item drops and all the sense of accomplishment that brings, I’m not buying it!

Who’s with me?  Player choice!  Player choice!  Player choice!  Ra ra... um, guys?

Here’s my PSA, reviewers play games differently than ordinary people. They rush through, because that’s the job. It’s an unavoidable consequence of what they do, but it means that certain aspects of reviews must be processed with that in mind. I’ve learned that a reviewer’s opinion of what’s too long, what is a waste

Of course this isn’t out in the US. Americans can’t afford ambulances.

Alright, there’s a very simple action you can take then. Just reverse the suspension entirely, not a literal half measure, and then denounce China’s actions in Hong Kong publicly.

If that’s too tough for you, than a billion dollar market is worth more to you than Hong Kong’s independence. That’s all there is to it.

Now playing

It’s good to see the ultimate crack smoking warlock had children.

They created the problem and are now selling the solution to you.  Yes, you SHOULD be mad.  That is the only rational emotion to feel at this.

And yet, the introduction claims this to be our weekly roundup of the best webcomics”. ;P

You just always pick the Friday one don’t you guys?

Here’s the actual best Penny Arcade for the week.

This was bound to happen Activision-Blizzard.  You sided with an oppressive government against the very values the US stands for.  Heck, you betrayed Capitalism itself out your greed, the mantra that greed is good was actually undone by greed itself.  That’s some meta level self-commentary.

It’s a very fractal game! Soon as the exclusivity with Epic expires I’ll be snagging it on GOG.

I want to thank you for saying “Final Fantasy VI (released as FFIII in the US originally)“ instead of “Final Fantasy III (called FF6 in Japan)“. At this point, the game’s been known as FF6 in the US longer than it was known as FF3, by a few decades in fact, so I certainly appreciate any journalist that acknowledges
