I believe the ESRB rated version is almost a guarantee it’ll be the second revision of the game with less slowdown due to better coding and a handful of glitches fixed (but not the double-spike death glitch). It’s something you can spot immediately in the first level because the clouds move in the background.

Of the

I always felt like Link was making numerous small wishes rather than one big wish in LTTP. Then again back then it was pretty clear from the text that the triforce pretty much grants infinite wishes so long as you hold onto the thing. It’s just that these days people don’t keep hold of it very long.

I love Link Between

No, no you see you’re someone commenting on someone commenting on people who misuse “first they came”.  They’re coming for you next.

It’s not unique or refreshing.  It looks like the ugly machines from a few decades ago.  We learned back then not to make something so utterly ridiculous with pointless fins.  Don’t misunderstand, I’m buying this thing, but it’s in spite of how it looks not because of it.

That Skytech one is a lot easier on the eyes. As usual Alienware has produced something that looks hideous.  I don’t mind a little bit of style- but honestly these people need to learn that form should follow function.

This isn’t a luxury. The exact same amount of effort goes into these skins as anything else. They aren’t special.

And yes, it is harmful. Those with compulsive collecting habits are harmed.  Further, I can apply your logic right back.  If you don’t like me pointing out how stupidly overpriced these things are, “move

Thank you though I misspoke and my point was more that this rerelease is welcome.

Glad to help sorry I keep forgetting that different gaming news sites are like different countries online so let me share what we’ve been discussing over at Polygon and Ars Technica.

Firstly the “it’s only cosmetic!” argument. No one is making the argument that the skin itself is changing the multiplayer component of a

Oh yes the “vote with your wallet” argument...  The deeper wallets get more votes.  I don’t think I have to say more to debunk that one.

You literally just listed every single debunked argument for this garbage manipulative price gouging.

I’m not even sure where to start.

NOOOOOOO!

This is entirely unacceptable.

First they ruined some poor cartoonist’s frog now they’re trying to coopt a common gesture?  Damn racists...  I’m not sure whether or not they’ve actually succeeded mind you, and it’s not like I can just stop making it in my day to day life considering how common it is, but I certainly will be more aware of how others

In a GBA there was an extra transformation unlocked. Without ripping out the rom and stuffing it on a GBA flash cart there’s no way to access that in the emulation.

I can’t wait to preorder this rerelease!

It’s the way of things now because they allowed it to be that way.  It is ENTIRELY up to Nintendo, Sony, and Steam what games get published on their platform.  I didn’t put that junk up there.  You didn’t.  These companies did.  When I say “this is how things are” and the retort is “this is the way things are”, that’s

Nintendo has been steadily letting more and more asset flips onto their store.  It’s damaged their reputation among the indie developers that have used the Switch store as a refuge from the absolute trash heap that is Steam.  I’m hoping this experience will cause Nintendo to tighten up their standards again.

It sounds like the creator didn’t understand the question through a layer of translation. That answer has nothing to do with what’s being asked.  It clearly IS called Resident Evil 8, or Resident Evil Village, which is probably why the question was confusing.

Or more accurately, Biohazard Village.  In any case, let’s

That’s true. In fact I like this solution. I’m just saying if you CAN go for a mod on a PS2 with an HDD attachment, go for that one.

The majority of PS2s out there are the old model, but at the same time, very VERY few people actually have the HDD kit.

I never even heard of Crucible until this article. I guess that proves the point.

Frankly, I think we need to bring back “system link” multiplayer, but then again there’s a reason companies never want to enable people to get out of their line of sight ever again. There’s money to be had in selling people dummied out

I’ve never had a port fail on me- so that’s a new one. However, it IS very loose fitting. Unplugging and replugging the HDD/Network adapter stack in there multiple times can loosen the connection. Have you tried cleaning and applying a little pressure with some pliers to “retighten” that port? It’s worked pretty well

This is a good tool to add to the kit, but for my part I think a long term HDD hack gets a lot more mileage out of it on PS2.  It’s nice to be able to back up your entire library in the form of launchable games all in one place with faster load times.
