I am absolutely convinced that this guy’s Spiral comic is just one small town’s story in the 80's cartoon Spiral Zone.

“Live”? Yeah no, it’s not live if there’s nothing alive on stage.

That said I was unaware there was some kind of narrative thread going on.

A rhythm game fan then.  That’s fine.

Shouldn’t they just represent themselves?  Wouldn’t it be better to custom fit the voice synthesis to your own music and ditch the “persona” entirely?  What is the point of that bland anime persona?

It doesn’t really matter. This isn’t going to be played by anyone. It’s a specially optimized tech demo. It is not and was never a game.  Let’s not devote too much time thinking about it.

I don’t get this.  What’s the internet’s obsession with a CG model assigned to a single voice simulator profile?  I think I’m officially old.

I’m not a fan of the cell shaded look for this particular game. It makes the characters look a little more generic than the WiiDS versions. That said, it’s nice to see an upgrade done well. I bought this game twice already and I suspect I’ll be buying it a third time. That said, I’m keeping the originals around.

Most of this article could have been deleted. There is no “search”. The answer is a single sentence. “Play Crisis Core.

Nintendo and their ridiculous fantasy worlds.  Look at this, you mean to tell me there’s an island where people congregate outside safely and help each other out to improve each other’s lives such that the whole is greater than the sum of it’s parts?  Ridiculous!

Personally I think the biggest problem with current Mortal Kombat is it takes itself too seriously.  A game with Robocop and Friendship (friendship?) moves should be as campy and ludicrous as those bad movies from the 90's.

Every aspect of this guy is unpleasent, right down to that “80's shock jock” look he’s cultivated.  Go back to the late night call in love advice show you came from you creep.

Personally I find personalities I wouldn’t otherwise get along with in real life to be part of the challenge of Animal Crossing. I don’t make an effort to get rid of everyone that isn’t like me on the island, instead I try to, well there’s no way to put this that isn’t lame but- “Learn to see the beauty in each of

Oh please, fighting a Godzilla sized King Koopa is kid stuff for Mario. Literally, he handled this from dinosaur back as a baby.

Bingo!  That’s why in the next games we’re stepping into totally unknown territory.  (Also the ghosts are nostalgic fans, metaphorically speaking.)

I suppose I wasn’t clear enough on what I was referring to when I said they didn’t “do so well”. I wasn’t talking about killing “fate” but another element that was in both the original story and the new one, THAT tragedy.

Oh, and honestly letting players know that this literally and metaconceptually is a different

Oh there’s lots of things that would be nice, but if you ask me those are more incidental.  There’s more than enough elements already in the game to make it feel like a “true” mario maker, and frankly the “world builder” is the biggest missing piece that’s now finally here.

Miiverse is dead. That was a big part of what made Mario Maker 1 work so well as a social experience. I say Nintendo would do well to consider bringing back Miiverse.

Being able to carry powerups into levels that may not have been intended for them is simply a good feature to have in a full fledged world. Yes, that may break levels that weren’t designed for a world. So? Don’t stick it in your custom world then. This would also apply to bringing lives over from previous levels. It’s

Here’s the BIG part of FF7 Remake that I only recently found out because spoiler culture restricted all the review sites from flat out telling us this vital detail.

It’s an alternate reality where the REAL story is that Cloud and the gang are fighting destiny to prevent the events of the original game from coming to

It’s not that he’s old, it’s that he’s rich. There’s your disconnect from reality.

Okay maybe a little of it is that he’s old.  It’ll happen to YOU!
