Wait so what you’re saying is, this game really makes you FEEL like Batman?

The rep grind can be frustrating mainly due to having to basically redo every last quest and rep grind a second time when you get the race you actually want to play as.  Contrast this with unlocking classes in a game like FFXIV that lets you learn any class you want, and it’s far less of a grind, namely just leveling

Toys “R” Us.  That’s the official name of the store, when it wasn’t a decaying line of corpses around the nation.

Every last one of those was a stinker except the Penny Arcade comic?  What’s this world coming to?

Stardew Valley?  The fishing in that game is almost universally panned as the one weak spot in an otherwise amazing game.  How did that get on here?

Maybe, though I know what’s in it for Blizzard. They want their characters to get that “Nintendo bump”. Being associated with such living GODS as Mario and Pacman (Not Nintendo, but point remains) would help push their characters into the mainstream. Not mainstream gaming culture, their characters have a solid place

It would appear neither of you actually read my post.

He’s beloved because he is terrible. At least for the older fans. The younger fans don’t understand the irony and love him for the wrong reasons, they’re loving WRONG! Wrong lovey dove love! Don’t feel that love, I say!

I must confess that for almost two decades now I never even understood the true genius of Waluigi’s

I have an idea for a Waluigi game. I call it “The Inscrutable Wherewithal of Waluigi”, wherein Waluigi informs us that he isn’t just some Mario Tennis extra, he’s ALWAYS BEEN THERE, much like Old Kentucky Shark. The game will consist of playing through Waluigi’s recollection, showing how it was he that actually

That’s really up to Nintendo. Blizzard isn’t going to put one character in only one version of their game and deprive others of it, and Nintendo isn’t about to start putting their characters on systems that aren’t PC.

Mario Teaches Typing: Ahem...

Any more, is what I mean, I mean they might, but it’s a long shot.  Also,

Personally I’m sick of how anime in general in Japan just loves to play off creepy behavior like this for “laughs”. From casual pedophilia to, well, THIS, there’s way too much of this stuff, and almost as bad is just how formulaic the jokes have become. Do they all check a big list of “approved terrible jokes” and

That’s the problem, the rules are too vague to know if I agree with them or not.

No you’re not.

And frankly, the rules aren’t well defined so it’s hard to say if anything’s been broken here. The rules seem to exist to give Twitch a pretext to please as many viewers as possible, so all it takes is a loud enough group for them to take action.  That’s why their intent matters.

Let’s go fetch the triforce or the infinity gauntlet or whatever and just wish for our earth to be split into two versions, one with all the terrible people, and the other with us.  I’m sure they’d prefer it too, because they thought “us” meant them.

What if all rights holders are essentially MIA?

Also, your absolutist morality is childish.

My big concern is the requirement that a friend stay in the game for months to get the increasing rewards.  It basically is encouraging players not just to convince a friend to “give wow a try”, but to stick with it even if they don’t like it because “Come ON, I need that backpack!”.

I want to ask the tough question here. Kotaku, will you call out exploitative microtransactions in games the community hasn’t ruled months later are “okay to make fun of”? I would love to see this in a day one review for a game that uses it, not a day 101 review when it’s far too late.

Yes, you’re going to make

I just want to BUY the game. I feel the same way about those recent Pokemon puzzle games. They’re fun, right up until the game demands I put in another couple of quarters to keep playing. If I wanted to pay for a game that way, I’d go to an arcade. We’ve got a Dave & Busters around here, I could make that happen!

Sell

And of course, Demon’s Soul’s constant references to “sticky white stuff”.

It’s September 8th, the trees are green, and it’s boiling outside. In what universe is this Halloween Season?
