Well, to be fair, in Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt, the defendants are a pile of douches, so it works pretty well.

That was one of my favorite tidbits—we really need the exact Ginsburg quote here. Not today, Satan!

Anyone else find it unsettling that as we make great strides in LGBT issues, we are being jettisoned back to the dark ages when it comes to Women’s Reproductive Rights?

I’ll take the under.

Trump bankrupted a casino.

We need to end the school-to-prison pipeline

The Clintons made their entry into politics via courting black southerners...they know how to pander to them.

Has there been any insight into why she does so well with African American voters given her spotty history regarding their interests? It seems so bizarre to the point of being baffling.

I cannot imagine ever preferring Donald Trump, Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio’s Supreme Court appointment to Hillary Clinton’s. Thinking about who any of them would nominate to succeed Scalia (and likely Ginsburg and Kennedy) makes stomach acid burn into my esophagus. You don’t want that. Nobody with any sense of compassion

Actual quote from one of my Trump-worshipping, Hillary-hating neighbors, after I mentioned Bernie Sanders: “Who’s that? Another black guy?”

A Stepford wife religious fanatic who apparently attended the Sarah Palin School of Diction.

I spent all of my Friday night watching this sitting in my pajamas and group texting all of my late twenties friends who were also doing the same. Our consensus is that it kind of sucks but none of us care. They definitely know their audience and have a lot of little *winks* to the camera throughout.

My mom asked me, uncomfortably, if it was true that Donald Trump was running for president because she'd been under the impression, until Tuesday this week, that it was an elaborate satirical sketch.

That Stevie Wonder isn’t actually blind.

You should absolutely give it a chance if nothing else. I don’t watch much TV on the regular, but my wife records this on the DVR. The show has never failed to be entertaining to me. The best thing is it’s cut from the same cloth as something like the Cosby Show was. It’s not a “show for black people”, it’s a show

Because it gives you power. To say, “you will not ruin me with the hate you cause. I make this choice.”
