just got back from the grocery store

Sounds kinda cool, but I’d have to get more information before I’d buy something like this. As with all PGC (procedural generated content) (especially non-environmental stuff) there’s always a big change it’ll be boring and lifeless (just think about Bethesda’s random quests in Skyrim/F4).

“ [...] Ubisoft’s upcoming The Division [...] to be better than Destiny. [...] The Division, which comes out next week, [...] blows Destiny out of the water [...] according to [...] 6.4 million beta players. [...] It’s yet another example of [...] best new franchise.” - Jason Schreier, Kotaku.com

LOL

Enduring a life of hardship to skillfully claw herself to the top of the heap as a highly competent daimyo. Now a big-titted stupidly dressed dumbass stuffing her crotch in people’s faces.

If Tomb Raider’s stable and Just Cause is not, both are using the same DRM, it doesn’t make sense that the DRM would be the cause.

Yeah too bad this DRM fucks with paying customers.

Did you read the article? The whole point of this particular anti-piracy system is to function in a way that does *not* impact legit purchasers while still confounding piracy.

Played Just Cause 3 off steam on a SSD, a 6700k at 4.0 ghz, and a nvidia 980Ti with 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and the game was as smooth as it could be. Denuvo’s existance was invisible to me as far as I cared.

A boogeyman witchhunt

Piracy is a result of entitlement. It’s usually a case where a minority percentage of the population ruins shit for the majority.

If fighting “piracy” didn’t also mean fighting consumer rights to their own digital rights and ownership, didn’t affect their ability to use a product THEY paid for and didn’t fuck with what should be fair use in the 21st century instead of the 19th century, sure fight “piracy”.

Hm... I've been playing rise of the tomb raider quite a lot. Not once did notice something weird that could be attributed to denuvo.

Can you show how Denuvo interfered with PC performance? I wasn’t able to find evidence of that, besides the old claim that SSD quality could be hit. So far as I know, that was actually found to be a problem with the game.

OH MY GOD! I get it. People hate those things and It’s SOOO popular to talk shit about them and vehemently dismiss anything related to them regardless of how neat of an idea it is. Can we move on finally? Some people enjoy playing with a thing most of you are jealous you can’t or flat out dismiss because there’s an

Let’s hear it for Quiet Mounds.

I can’t throw rocks, I live in an abandoned nitroglycerin storage facility.

But people liked it and Charles Schultz liked making it, so what’s the problem? Didn’t he die the day after the last comic was made or something?

Eh. It’s fair game when the community decided to datamine the code.

Or maybe the fans are kind of whiny babies. It’s 109 hours. According to my very scientific math, that’s less than a week. Calm down, everyone.
