I remember Chuck Norris driving one of these in Walker for several seasons.
That made me LOL, literally. One of my favorite things to do is speculate about how Smokey would have dealt with certain other race series. Take your star.
To be fair, they did better than most we see on these occasions.
Yeah, not to brag, but I think that I could have at least mitigated the collision into something less than fatal, I have certainly avoided deer at similar speeds and distances.
This would have been better if they had made Stephen Hunter’s Night of Thunder into a movie.
I dunno, I think it would do pretty well as a shooting target...
Not using turn signals when changing lanes alone on a five lane highway. (literally, I couldn’t even see the cop that pulled me over).
Absolutely loved this movie when I saw it as a kid (so did my siblings). bought it a couple of years ago and still watch it occasionally.
That front end is just ugly.
True, but flappy paddles and advanced traction control both came from F1 to road cars, why not this?
Holy crap, my brother-in-law just had this problem! Seriously! Of course he ended up with a $2500 Honda Passport, but he is happy and the truck runs fine. Try to find one of those.
The Williams F1 team would disagree.
Mclaren F1. I would pay anything I had for one.
Marauder
I live in Arkansas, literally anything from art to drunken bets are possible
Still nor as bonkers as Group B was.
The current generation of F1 hybrid engines gets better than 60%, so why should something in that region not be possible in five or ten years time?
When the CAFE (Federal Fuel Economy) regulations killed them. Lets face it, they were Great American Land Yachts (GALY’s) with even more metal on them, they were never going to be particularly efficient. They hung on for a while, but by the late 80's, the minivan had taken over the market as a more modern design to do…
What they ought to do is shove the engine from the GT into the front, or the economist v8 we all know is coming. Give it the ten speed auto and you could be pushing 200 flat out. Give us a reason to buy one, in other words.
