GTA is an RPG in the same sense as Fallout or Skyrim so it is in no way to be compared to a normal single player adventure game. 90 of those 100 hours are fetching meaningless nonsense, driving point to point or just wasting time running over cops.

This. I find most games these days run 30 to 50 hours to complete, and usually have about 12 to 15 hours worth of good content. I wish the length=value thing would die already. I can’t think of a single game from the past few years that I wish would have been LONGER.
