Cool man. You do you.
I must admit you basically listed every genre I can’t stand. Plus I don’t do multiplayer at all. Though I could see the benefits in a western RPG. But honestly if it’s a 3rd person game, I’m sticking with a pad.

Maybe...
Think you’ll like DOOM, lots of little details and Metroid Prime levels of hidden shit to find. Plus a decent 3D map that points you in the right direction. Plus after you’ve cleared the map you’re free to explore and pour over all the nuances. It’s just so damn good. And a controller is a perfectly…
What the hell does that have to do with anything? I know the angles exist, I just wouldn’t trust them on a 360 gamepad. So I didn’t and don’t consider them viable buttons.
Ah the angles on the dpad. I couldn’t trust them.
The hell you playing that you need a 17-button mouse? And what math gets you 11 buttons on the 360 pad? Are you using one of buttons as a function-shift?
Yeah the pressure of not knowing what was going on or where the creature you glimpsed from a distance numerous times was going to be next. That and it’s subtext of trying to ‘beat’ it was fantastic.
But what really sold me on the whole thing? The mundane atmosphere of a seemingly innocuous home, where anyone could…
The bear in the cabin part of 2 is the only part worth experiencing. Cause that fucker can burst through walls. That said, the plot jumps about 12 thousands sharks and almost diminishes the reputation of the 1st game. Which I love to this day.
Well the third image looks pretty shopless.
I can’t speak to your other sentiments.
On PC I’d like an example of where you map your inputs. I see 7 potential buttons on the pad side that I hadn’t considered until this moment. Though Dpad isn’t the most accurate of inputs in the heat of battle.
I beat DOOM on PC with a Xb1 controller because I’m a pleb. Wasn’t too bad, now I’m going back through with M+K, and it’s no religious experience. Though I swap between both control methods regularly for FPSes of varying difficulty, and don’t touch MP in anything at all never ever. I got shit to look at in games,…
Yeah I crack up every single time I see it. It’s just too perfect.
Oh it would have been immaculate if you used ‘blinds’ instead. Still great job!
The same could be said for all PC releases. But the general consensus was that it wasn’t a half-assed port and ran pretty well on modest systems.
Word.
I miss the first gen Nokia phones. Indestructible bastards. You could kill a man with one and then call the cops to report it.
Well those kind of inconsistencies shouldn’t exist in any consumer product. Or hell any product at all. Almost everything portable, or remote, has a li-on battery. Even going as far back as the GBA SP.
