Right there with you. I’ve played more Wipeout XL/3/HD than any human being has the right to. I still remember the animal ships from XL and how much more difficult Pirahna was to use with the swimming shark. Couldn’t judge those corner for shit on Phantom class.

It was really one to two individuals with multiple burners. So I say get rid of burners. They’ve bred no fruit worth reading.
It’s an outmoded system, but it’s a fair sight better than when it was based on Stars. You weren’t shit unless you had a star. I managed two in 3 years, before Kinja spanked all our arses.

I assume they’re playing the Japanese version for some inexplicable reason. I mean I understand it from a Eastern dev, but this was a domestically developed game, from Naughty Dog.

I was playing this recently on roommate’s Xb1, and was amazed at the complete lack of slowdown. I could swear the XBLA version on 360 still had it.
