I’m completely confused by your comment. The article doesn’t say anything about making fewer GPUs. And what does any of this have to do with e-waste and the environment?

Just pointing out that Missing Heir came out originally in 1988, not 1998 as the article states.
I think it’s more that Epic are on record saying that they don’t want to be involved in the sale and distribution of porn, but by hosting the itch.io they have been indirectly implicated in it, therefore Epic’s attempts to circumvent the Apple’s store could lead to Apple indirectly hosting content that they don’t want…
It’s demonstrating that Epic is not trustworthy?
Except Apple doesn’t give two fucks about policing morals, they’re simply trying to make a rhetorical point about Epic’s trustworthiness.
Hi Jason! A chilean guy here! The video it’s hilarious, but I feel I should warn you the twitter account you linked is a far-right, trump-stan alike. On the future, please try to avoid giving visibility to account names with ‘patriota’ on them.
You are ignoring the racial diversity of the countries these games are being made in not being represented in the games. So therefore they are “forcing” a lack of diversity by your argument.
If an African games company made 10 AAA games about various African warriors/heroes and then suddenly made a game with a white protagonist to sell copies/”pander”... I dunno.
The problem is they’re forcing whiteness. And have been for a long time. Forcing diversity isn’t the issue, diversity is just acknowledging the world we live in.
Look if a publicist can make it, why not.
I thought Domino’s oldest villain was its pizza.
Doesn’t Michigan have hate crime laws? Why isn’t that racist behind bars (after he pleaded guilty to aggravated assault)? Oh wait... it’s fucking rural Michigan, which may as well be Kentucky.
Hate to be the lowbrow heathen at this fine dining table, but...watching this makes me DREAM of someone putting this level of detail (visual and mechanical) into a Battlefield 1942/Battlefield 2 type of game.
There’s a ton of great CG that goes unnoticed because it’s so well done. People like to dog on it because it’s used everywhere in entertainment and varies in quality (people always assume giant green screens and super heroes), but here’s a great video showing how CG is used to great effect in the Netflix series…
Satoshi Kon would have approved.
Eh, think I’d not really be down with people posting pics of me from high school without my consent, being that I was a super awkward teen and all. People have complicated relationships with their high school selves and what might look like a perfectly nice photo to an outsider might trigger a lot of painful feelings…
That sounds like something a cheater would say! jk
This is a generally bad take. Granted, Cyberpunk shipped in a terrible state due to a pandemic and a ridiculous time table. However, I remember playing a ton of shitty games in 1998 that never were fixed. Games today are far, far more advanced, but on the upside can be easily patched and fixed so if a developer wants…
Any sympathy I might have had for him evaporated when I saw this. But the other figures are fairly unprofessional as well.
I dunno, compared to some waifu figures I think this is more problematic as a physchological hazard:
