Where does Google Authenticator help claim that it will import accounts to a new phone? Authenticator tokens are only ever presented once. To move to a new phone, you have to either have the old phone or use a backup code to login and then generate a new token.

A thousand times this. Unique email addresses per service provider, along with a password safe to store unique, random passwords, gives you far more benefit than just knowing if someone is playing fast and loose with your contact info.
