I think we might need a bit more flair. Maybe go for a nostalgia angle? Something like “Pokemon got me thru my parents’ divorce and to see this is like spitting in kid-me’s eye!!!1" Really lean into it too; anytime someone mentions interest just pop in with your life story like Quinn during the town hall meeting in

Good. We can work with this. Keep it casual like we don’t care. Makes us seem more dignified. Trick is to keep it up when people call us out on it.

Alright team: What do we want to be outraged about with this one? I was thinking something with aliasing? But I’m open to complaining about not enough new Pokémon. Though not including enough old ones is a reliable one....

“He’s still alive” is exponentially more creepy to me than “You’re next” for some reason. I think it’s because it’s words that should come off as reassuring, but combined with her expression comes off as some kind of conspiracy that is much more sinister.

Because it’s a game that doesn’t require much investment for progress, the immediate gratification of gameplay is great, and there’s an interesting story if you want it that isn’t forced down your throat if you just want to blow up evil bugs with space magic.

Ana made it off of Mars with what was left of Rasputin in an Exo body and is trying to reconstruct him. Sloan was left on Titan, going into the Arkology while wearing a Golden Age suit of power armor, so she’s likely to be gone. My hope is that she might return as a boss, with her armor corrupted by the Darkness.

I looooved Asher in that he presented himself as this incorruptible researcher of the Vexx when he really was just a bitter old man driven by his hatred of the things that took something from him.

I mean, she’s the core NPC of the last expansion. It gave us her backstory.

Because I like it.

You mean like this republican calling the insurgents “tourists” https://www.forbes.com/sites/andrewsolender/2021/05/12/gop-rep-gosar-says-ashli-babbitt-was-executed-defends-capitol-attackers/?sh=3896c8ef7554

I’m not sure who your comment is for...

The first red flag should have been the fact this franchise spawned from him trying to make a Christian game but everyone told him the character designs were something from a fucking nightmare.

*Pro-life means enforcing your beliefs on what others can do with their bodies, and in many cases actively attacking and killing those who do not agree with you, so being pro-life is not tolerant.

I can absolutely see why they cut down Drax role for the MCU, but I think it’s weird because Drax is the only reason we got a Guardians movie in the first place.

I always love it when I come across someone who voices their opinion as something as a hard fact, only to have everyone to look at them with confusion when it’s so off-base that it isn’t even generally believed.

I love the Guardians movies, and think the characterizations are great, but I think they really jettisoned some of the best aspects of the characters by doing so, Drax being one of the most obvious examples.

I can see all the replies you’re making in this comment section and you look like you’re getting confused which person you’re replying to in any given one of these...

THE FACT THAT IT’S PURPOSEFULLY BASED OFF OF CUBA *LITERALLY* MEANS IT HAS CONNECTIONS TO REAL WORLD BELIEFS!

Actually, every piece of fictional media *does* in fact make a political statement. The different between what you personally find apolitical vs political is that you are complicate with the material you find apolitical and feel threatened by the things that you consider political.
