I get you, but I'm just saying that there is a much higher focus on stats and logistics in Japanese media than in other countries.

Well put. Thanks
That’s not what I’m saying. That’s not anywhere near the conversation I’m trying to have
No. He’s depowered but they never clarify numerically what his abilities are.
Anyone else notice the trend in anime and manga to focus a lot on the logistics of powers (limitations, rules) as plot points? Like how a story will grind to a halt just so a character can experiment with their powers and learn qualities about them that have really specific guidelines?
Better that than how he ended up in the comics.
That game gave me the perfect balance of challenge and wish fulfillment. In any other game, getting attacked by an army of tanks, helicopters and giant robots would be a nightmare.
You know, I realized the other day that there is one major Western comics character who, more than anyone else, fits all the magical but-kicking qualifications of a Magical Girl: Doctor Strange.
Sony would be a good home. Nintendo would set it up for a console exclusive on something that requires two peripherals. One of which is inserted into your body.
You know how there are umpteen different iterations in this franchise? I propose one that represents these characters with *historical accuracy*.
With their current strategy, I wouldn’t be surprised by an “In Memory” next year.
True, but it was months after the fact that they revealed that a well regarded manga creator would have worked on the project. That like telling a widower a month after the funeral that his wife was pregnant when she died.
It was like months later and “Hey, how about we rub some salt in that wound?”
You know how some books/movies/games have titles that sound like they were made by taking a bunch of buzzwords that have proven to work and just jumble them together?
Booster Gold?
I got my hopes up that it was going to be a comment on how the Japanese industry is shrinking because they neglect or refuse to produce games for outside their own country.
Yeah, I tried that, but it really just isn’t that good. You can tell it’s free to play.
That’s great!
I like her hair and how the costume isn’t racist. The boobs and additude are a bit much though.
