i recently replayed fo:nv for the first time in 10 years and was engaged in the story in the first hour. i’m still plodding along 3 or 4 or so hours into starfield and i feel nothing at all for any of it beyond a vague annoyance at how frequently the UI seems to fight me.
So the AI hasn’t improved from Skyrim/Fallout 4, excellent....
That man had a TIA. Now, I loathe Mitch McConnell and I’m not even from your country. However, this is not something to mock or celebrate (not that either of those things happened in this article). If the GOP has any sense of decency, they’d move McConnell from his duties and get him to care.
This is my exaction situation - I just successfully defended the last light in and it somehow turned Gale on, despite karlach and mine’s mutual declarations to touch each other’s swimsuit areas once her skin stops burning.
For most RPGs, I feel like NPCs deserve better than whatever self-insert PC I’m playing.
I assume there is no way to turn off relationships? I am not a prude, I just don’t like relationships in games. I never romanced anyone as Shepard (neither as male nor as female Shepard) and I’d rather keep (romantic) relationships out of my D&D game.
I stumbled into a Gale romance without realizing it on my first play through, I thought I was just being a good friend to someone going through a hard time and all of a sudden the game thought we were extra special friends rather than just normal friends.
“in development for almost a decade”
Agile = whipping back and forth between concepts and game direction as dictated by the mercurial boss of the week.
Did you read any of the mod descriptions? Or check any of the comments on Nexus? Several of these mods do NOT do what you just said they do, and several others are completely broken because they were designed for Early Access and never updated for Full Release.
Why? They paid their money to play the game they can play it however they want.
Who is that invested in Snow White to care this much? She’s the least interesting Disney princess in a very forgettable film that is only notable because it was the first. Seriously when was the last time you watched it? I did a Disney rewatch during the pandemic and other than some nice animation and the super fierce…
I mean, I’m glad he said it...but we all know this is exactly what’s going to happen. And then in 5-7 years, we’ll hear complaints from WB execs scratching their heads wondering why they just had a series of toy-based movies that flopped.
Hard disagree, tbh. BG3 absolutely should be used as a weapon, as it proves an incredibly specific point, which is that publicly traded, shareholder run companies are almost always the enemy of quality. The developers I’ve seen that are preemptively complaining are not wrong, in that players will expect more, and they …
Bard should get a lot more attention from players.
College of Swords Bard is fantastic: Good spellcasting (healer/damage/buffs), great combat utility with bows if you spec right (including ranged pushback), and bard’s get phenemonal dialog choices.
Also, since you’re CHA based you do fantastically on dialogue checks of…
Not only do I completely agree with that Garrus point, although I don’t know if I found necessary boring in ME1 and his character mission in ME2 was great, but I also feel this applies to a lot of the character dynamics interactions moving from ME1/2 to ME3.
Hate to be that guy, but spotted a typo.
Dijkstra is not a Polish name, it’s Dutch - like a lot in The Witcher, actually.
Honestly - a pet peeve of mine is creators that make excuses like this.
