Never could get into the book, and I couldn’t get past 4 episodes of the show. This one just didn’t do it for me, despite the stellar performances by the cast. Some stories are just like that. *shrug*

More and more Madonna is reminding me of whacky Aunt Flo who puts on all the things and slips her caregivers for a couple of hours.
This is the Agatha Christie that was re-shot when Ed Westwick was dropped from the original cast. I don’t know that he would have brought any more sense or cohesiveness to the production, tbh. As Agatha Christie remakes go (this is the third, annually aired at Christmas in the UK), this one relied too much on hidden…
I think that Jen plays a very long game.
That’s his real appeal.
Angie forgets that children grow up and form their own opinions and agendas for their lives. It may include their Dad, it may not, but it’s their choice. This is going to come back and bite her in the ass in 10 years.
Alas...
I still love to do the occasional binge watch every couple of years or so and I have to say that Kate is even more annoying watching back to back episodes. They really could have done so much more with her character than the love triangle/Kate runs over and over and over.
Our house has been low carb/keto for the last 8 months. I will happily dine with the Queen any day!
It looks like the old toi et moi offset style that was popular in the nineteenth century. Usually the stones are same size and cut. I am surprised this one isn’t offset with one sitting slightly higher than the other so that they nestle better.
Welp, now at least we know which one of them keeps holding the torch for glory days.
Seriously, and wasn’t that the point of frikkin Ocean’s 11 plot as well? It’s meant to be escapist summer fun. Quit looking for some deeper meaning.
Iceberg lettuce is a double misnomer: it is neither iceberg nor lettuce. Swap in spinach for that wedge of water, add a sliced hard boiled egg or strawberries and suddenly it’s a spinach salad...a grownups salad with actual nutrition that still provides a vehicle for drinking creamy dressing and eating bacon (because,…
So many great memories playing GW: fun guildies, stupid builds (R/M anyone?), campaigns before the release of heroes, pimping my Koss, massive GvG fails, awesome GvG wins, fun holiday events with my buddies, and just that the damn terrain everywhere was so gorgeous.
This sounds like most conversations between my sister and I, for sure.
Fever Tree is wonderful in a Hendrick’s G&T. The botanicals kiss the gin and the next thing you know you are holding an empty pitcher and hunting for your panties....um, so I’ve heard.
As someone who was in my teens when Queen started recording, I’ve always felt especially protective of Freddie and his memory. Still miss him. This whole production gave me the heebies from the start, but it doesn’t look horrible and I can credit Rami in some of the shots as uncanny, as you said. Still on the fence…
I am so sorry you miscarried. My daughter and son-in-law are also actively trying to conceive and getting very defeated after nearly two years. She suspects that she has miscarried at least once, given the severity of the cramping and the bleed but also says who knows if it has happened more than the once. I wish you…
That’s one of my dream tiaras for her as well. That or the Strathmore Rose, which has been mothballed for too long.
The debate about the wedding tiara (as in which one, not if there will be one...unthinkable for a Princess), is a becoming a daily occurrence with us Magpies at The Court Jeweler. We also wish for Meghan to have a wedding up-do. We generally wish that Meghan and Kate would both find a hair style that gets their hair…
