I would point out Cuba was

b) had a Gun during his
c) 33 1/3 mph bronco chase.

"Criminal" justice. Which is what this show was exploring. And yes, via our legal system. No one's confused.

The OJ/ACS marathon on now is even better watching the story's stream of consciousness run straight thru the narrative.
Awesome show. Permanent part of my library now.

Reality Check: On History channel now 9/pst: OJ Speaks: the hidden tapes from the civil trial taped depositions plus post criminal trial footage. Great to compare with the series. Lots of material out now for your viewing pleasure.

I appreciated the faithful integrity and reality portrayed in the series. It is left for people to infer the terrible void. That's something we have to live with and learn from. I think Darden and Goldman were the bleeding conscience of the case and this series. I'm not inclined to grab a brush and repaint an artist's

I understood your point, Captain, I just don't agree, that's all. The series was never meant to be a documentary or biopic. In the end, it's the writer's/showrunner's vision. Maybe that's the disconnect. Check out his interviews. You have a different vision for someone else's show.

Brown and Goldman: I feel like that was kinda the point. Two people silenced forever, with EVERYone else having a voice BUT them. Strangers, fame-whores, attorneys, pundits, media - everyone had a mouth with a dollar sign attached, everyone but the victims who could never speak. Fwiw, much personal evidence was

I saw a juror interview recently: it turns out there were family visits on Sundays too, not just conjugal ones.
What was the point of sequestering then?! The wheels fell of this case before it rolled out of the showroom.

The bigger problem than ethics [weirdly] and appearances was Kardashian was a material witness. If he no longer had the protection of OJ's acting "attorney" [attorney/client privilege], he would be flapping in the breeze as accessory to the crime, which, we'll recall, Shapiro had no problem lording that reality over

Loved that line too, and he was right!! And he often was right, but not given credit for it, for all his smarminess.
What people fail to understand: Jurors can discuss the case ONLY during Deliberations.
By law, to "Deliberate" means to go over all the evidence AFTER the case is tried, and given to the jury. This

The puppy scene (true IRL) really bookends the whole series, no?
Episode 1, Scene 1: Kato the dog out walking with bloody feet - the end of 2 people's story (Nicole/Ron).
Finale, last scenes: a new puppy, new beginning, just not the one OJ wanted.

Did you see those tapes of his depo in the civil trial a year later (but recently released - fascinating)? He was very conflicted, so maybe that scene foreshadows that. I'm sure he knew, but was devoted to OJ from back in the SF projects days. His exGF said he knew too.

yeppers

The wrath of LA came down on the Menendez brothers' retrial in the wake of OJ.
You can kill your wife (oj): check
You can kill your kid (casey anthony/FL): check
But you can't kill your parents (menendez): check

Thanks! Autotuning now.

Another judge made the call to move to DTLA, but it was not automatic, with SM judges citing their objections.

Later, Garcetti wrongly got the heat, he in turn, blamed Marcia (of course) "She made all the major decisions" because of her declarations of a "mountain of

Sure. Here's a tip, since this series is nothing if not meta, just follow the clues:
These "mistakes" or inconsistencies are intentional historical references to case law, this one in Italy about Franca Viola that dealt with archaic law and how rape victims were forced to marry their rapists. Clark was 17 in 1970 when

Hm, I see your point. BOTH were comedic talents.

No worries. He mentioned "where are the guys from the club?" at his party, too.
It's a lot to process the events in your own city real-time, and again to a new audience this many decades later. LA could NOT get a conviction on any high-profile case until Round 2 of the Menendez brothers' trial following OJ's. LA

I was fantasizing, just like you.
