I mean the money is just one piece of the equation. They haven’t even begun eminent domain procedures, which will take years to process. By the time the wall is actually ready to break ground, Trump will be long gone.

Most of us find that being informed on things going on in the country, especially those getting large amounts of coverage in the media, is a major positive in our lives. If you find being so informed to be a negative in your life, that’s perfectly fine, too.

And I know this is a power play to meet HIS immediate needs. Not the majority. I know there are barriers, limitations, rules, funding issues, etc etc etc to solve any of the things I listed above plus more, but just come on. “So much money” that we can’t fix our debts or our education systems or our taxes or help w tax

“We have so much money we don’t know what to do with it,” Trump said. “I don’t know what to do with all the money they’re giving us.”

Irish twins lassie.

RIGHT!? you go to all the trouble to cover your tracks in cash.... then use your real name. That is so dumb, he can certainly count on no future investments from me!

That absolutely blew my mind. You have no reason whatsoever to tell them the truth, why in hell would you??

I have noticed exactly what you described and it’s very disconcerting and quite craptastic as well. Also, clearing one’s browser cache while farting loudly does not help one single bit.

Dear Kinja Pricks,

Let me tell you about my experience, my wife was having surgery and my out of pocket expenses were going to be $8500. We went to the hospital the morning of the surgery with the intent to pay the full $8500...when dealing with the billing department, they were very sympathetic that I had to pay so much, I didn’t think

Something to note - you should always get a statement from your insurance company showing what was filed with them, what they allow, what should be written off, what they (the insurance) pay, and what you are responsible for.

I’ve had the most success calling my insurance company, having them confirm that the charges should have been written off, and then having THEM call the biller (with me on the line). They know the lingo and can usually get the office to take off the charges almost immediately, whereas when I’ve tried to call on my

I’m the luckiest one, because I didn’t have to schlep across the Alaskan tundra to get it.

the best reason for owning an instant pot is that it will fully cook frozen meats. My wife and I are notorious for forgetting to take dinner out of the freezer the night before, and our Instant pot has saved us SO MUCH MONEY because normally on those nights we’d order out ... now we just instant pot the frozen meat.

Had something similar, but my school called it “American Chop Suey”. The dish was generally insulting all around, and I’m fairly certain it was used to clear out ground beef that was nearing expiration. No distinct taste or texture. Just a mouth full of mush.

Instead of browning your meat immediately like that, braise it low and slow for a few hours, then rest it in the fridge and let it chill all the way down before browning like normal!

You’ll get the “next-day stew” unctuousness on Day 1!

This is a very interesting point that my wife and I were talking about the other day. I love the Instant Pot, but it certainly is more a tool for eating than for cooking, if that makes sense. If you’re into the smells and sounds and letting your oven heat your house for a day, then the Instant Pot is not the way to

Every municipality that offers curbside recycling has different rules. Mine does not take soft plastics like bags and plastic mailing envelopes no matter how you bundle them. BUT the grocery stores in the area will accept and recycle these plastic film materials. So you are right, don’t rely on Lifehacker to know what

I’ve noticed that an ongoing issue with Lifehacker is framing a regional/local issue as if it were applicable to everyone across the country (even though it isn’t), often in a way that could be solved if the author simply did a quick google search. So let me try reframing this story from my own, local perspective:

Please change this misleading headline. If you read the WaPo article linked to, it clearly states that the plastic mailers can be recycled correctly at plastic BAG recycling locations like those at the entrance of your grocery store. As with any plastic film, this should not go in the curbside bin with your milk jugs
