I’d rather have studless winter tires on black ice. Black ice is usually thin with no strength, so studs don’t really find much resistance in them, making them somewhat worthless. Granted, sometimes black ice is thick enough for the studs to be beneficial, but I’ll play my odds with studless.

possibly, but even a correctly well-shot deer will still run for a short distance. much more significant in the “gaminess” of venison:

In New Hampshire, you need to put yourself on a list requesting to be called when there is available roadkill. When an animal is killed, Fish & Game start making calls in order to see who on the list wants it.

That’s the rub. More for people that salvage means fewer for food banks. But ultimately, it’s much better off that the carcasses get used for something rather than just left there or dumped off to rot.

My problem with this is, how the hell am I expected to watch anything on this tiny tiny screens?

I’m ashamed to admit I’ve never had venison. Someday, I’d like to try it, but literally the only times I’ve had the chance were at restaurants where I went with other choices I knew I liked, instead of paying for something I wasn’t sure of. I would seek out a hunter, but the ones I’ve talked to all approach it as

Good point...even just regular, mechanical door locks would suffice, really.

Oh my god, that video must have been one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. The sad part is the guy didn’t seem to understand “But i did it” yeah because your Christian... “Donald Trump did it” yeah because hes Christian. bewildered look.

I saw that interview. That guy was so dumb I almost felt bad for him. Almost.

Of course they’re powered, because what type of peasant manually folds down a jump seat?

One tip I have used (to varying degrees) and often recommend is this: You don’t HAVE to wait to the end of the month to pay your credit card bill in one lump sum. If you’re concerned about spending money you don’t have, then pay off your balance weekly, or at the end of the day if you’ve just made a large purchase. Or

Just a caution: be careful doing this if you’re flying with kids and need to stay together. We saved a couple hundred buying a separate ticket for me from my wife and kids (can’t do it for the kids because they become technical unaccompanied minors). The plane was full and my name got drawn for an involuntary bump. If

Whenever a large group of friends and I are planning a big trip, I typically volunteer to purchase the plane tickets.

Yeah, that’s a good point. I just now transferred $2400 to savings. Thank you.

I keep $100 in checking. When I need to pay a bill or something else I just transfer the money from my savings. Yes, the interest is very low in my savings, but at least it’s making something, unlike if it was sitting in my Checking account.

I think this really depends on where you’re moving it to if you’re not keeping it in checking.

Yeah, seems like the most likely scenario. But usually they pull the truck right up to the house, so they’d have to be scanning them and then driving door to door anyway. I guess that would save some time for the driver, but I’d think their bosses would get tired of the calls from people who don’t know their stuff is

Scanning several at their truck, then going through the neighborhood delivering them?

This happens to me a lot, but with a much shorter window. The package will be marked “Delivered” and then show up 15-30 minutes later. And this is usually around lunchtime too, not end of day. I have no idea what they gain by that, but it happens all the time for USPS delivered packages.

My S7 did the same thing. If I had a notification come in while trying do do anything else the whole phone would pause. My Note4 battery went to crap after about a year, too, so I’ve checked out of Samsung for a while.
