That supposedly works on mattresses

I worked in an airport book store in college and I was sick ALL. THE. TIME.

My phone would overheat and lip balm melt ;-)

I generally don’t like it either. The certain people I mentioned is really one person —my boyfriend—and I really only care if I message him something about our kid or our home (he’s not always able to talk at work, but messaging is fine). Other than that IDGAF if you read my message or not on Facebook.

What do you mean? The main reason I use Facebook messenger to contact *certain people* is because I know the message is read.

My mother bought me an electric keyboard when I first started taking piano lessons. When I kept at it long enough to need more keys (there were 40 something instead of 88), she bought a full upright piano.

“ write in the special requests section that you’ll be tipping in cash (trust me—they’ll appreciate it).”

You need extra money to read documents and open your mail when you get it? Those two things can save you some money.

$100 is a couple hundred dollars if you need to buy more than one ticket.

Not sure if it fits here, but get a driving record abstract every so often if you’re applying to jobs that require driving.

It’s not terrible hard if you have simple returns. I did back taxes for my fiance a few years ago BY HAND ;-)

If you make a low enough income, you do get out more than you put in

Don’t get me wrong, I buy in bulk a lot so I don’t have to make quite as many trips and sometimes it’s easier for me to manage one BIG something instead of a bunch of little things. But folks say ‘buy in bulk’ as if it always saves money. I’m always aware of the per lb/oz/100 count price.

Land lines cost about the same as cell phone plans from places like Cricket. And you have the extra added bonus of having internet. A lot of people use their phone as their ‘computer’.

right. Our basic ass landline is $40 a month. You can get a cell plan for close to that price WITH INTERNET that you can use to apply for jobs and benefits.

Why do people lean on buying in bulk? It’s not always the cheapest option, and even if it’s cheaper sometimes it’s by just a few cents.

Have you looked into changing your SS number. I know it’s very hard to do so, but your situation sounds like it may be worth considering.

I’ve always ‘had change’. I also know people who count their change so they can pay for shit. Sometimes the person giving you $10 in change isn’t an asshole, that’s literally all they have.

Anyone use credit karma? I feel weird about paying $30 to report $100 on my 1099 DIV

Does the syrup have the same soothing effect as honey when added to a tea? Hot tea with lemon and honey is my cold ‘remedy’ but I’d like to change it up.
