He grew out of a bassient really quickly. I also wasn’t reaching that far down to pick him up—neither he or his father are short. The bassient wasn’t detachable, but he slept in the upper level of the pack and play for a while.

Why not? I don’t like shells on for pasta dishes, but if you’re doing the peel and eat thing, I’d rather the shells stay on until I’m ready to eat them.
Ok, I’m sold on the not having to cook it in batches.
I’m a fan of early morning flights especially when traveling with my son. All he wants to do is sleep, and at less than 2 years old that is a blessing.
Not if the person who is taking you normally gets up well before, and would rather take you at that time then deal with all the traffic later.
Why is it so baffling? We don’t do joint accounts, but I totally understand why others might. Is it really that hard to understand that different things work for different people?
Agreed.
I just bought some spreadable Kerrygold and it’s amazing.
My mother kept a few pieces of my grandma’s china. She hung some plates on the wall, and kept a tea cup. The rest donated.
I actually like my mom’s china so I am fine with keeping it—I actually want more pieces but since it’s like 45 years old it’s hard to find (and yes I know about Replacements LTD)
He tried and succeeded when I was standing right there. First time he fell out and down(I caught him) and the second, he figured out how to hang and then drop.
My issue now is our kid is toddler-bed sized (35 inches tall) but not toddler bed age (he’s a year and a half). A crib with taller sides would be the best. Right now he’s sleeping in my bed, but we’re going to try to transition him fully to his own room. I think what we’re going to do is lower the side, and take…
I don’t think they were quite as numerous years ago...they seem to have opened a bunch of stores in the past few years.
Someone watched Jeopardy! this week....
and it’s crazy cheap. I bought the IKEA one for grandma’s house and I kinda wish we had one for our house.
Yeah, mental health days are necessary. If your workplace doesn’t require a doctor’s note for one day out, why are you even going in depth about why you’re out. Just say, “I am not feeling up to coming in today” and be done with it.
I never faked sick—we have sick days, but folks use them as unscheduled vacation days.
Your child isn’t going anywhere in the car. Just keep him in your line of sight.
I don’t let him watch YouTube?
People put their baby’s bare butt right on the seat?!
We let our now 19 month old eat on his own around 8 months.
