I am the planner in my relationship. I learned to let go, and really only plan for things you need tickets for, or for popular attractions. That, and the hotel. I have heard of people going on vacation without booking rooms—that’s crazy.

Seriously, had she never been to a movie theater before? And somehow missed all the signs in the lobby and on the front doors telling her that she couldn’t bring outside food or drink in?

Wow. That’s crazy. A gift certificate is not even a ‘discount’, it’s just money you didn’t have to pay out of your pocket. How dense/cheap do you have to be to not know to tip on the full price.

Well, I do give them credit if they are extending this to workers in every state and not just in California. They could totally restrict it to just that state.
