Same here! I have both and I don't know which I truly like better. I want to say Chromecast because it seems quicker to just find the app on my phone then search the Roku.

I think this trick might work better if this isn't your first trip. Some place might look close on a map, but you have no idea how long it actually takes to get there.

Makes more sense than the original....

YES! The produce is terrible. And it's usually prepackaged, which I hate. Sometimes I just want one lemon, you know?

Heh. I guess you can...never thought about that!

What about the mic?

Yep. The one-lowmanship runs RAMPANT in these types of threads

You haven't seen Indian weddings (to name one culture), have you? It's not just the US.

I get the feeling that my boyfriend, if/when the time comes will be like that.

I live in NJ, where we don't pump gas. I highly doubt that it wold be cheaper if the law changed tomorrow.

Dinner party I could understand but not go to a wedding? You could attend the ceremony and skip the dinner part of the reception.

Exactly! Those comments dint' sound serious, and if you can't take a little ribbing from your family or friends, I wouldn't want to hang with you.

A lot of places that are going to offer cash back —like Target or the grocery store—make you go to customer service for a return. Or you have to wait for a manager.

Probably TMI for a LH post but I was attempting to purchase something at an ...uh, adult store....and they charged a $5 fee for debit/credit cards. I thought about using cash, but then realized the fee was ridiculous, AND the people in the store were mean so I didn't buy anything. I did call Visa and Mastercard to

I was behind someone who ordered the $1.50 combo and apparently had just a card and I did my good deed for the day by just paying for his stuff.

But your bank will charge a fee though, right? or not?

I came in here to say that. I am relatively happy with my job, but my boyfriend is looking for a new position and is seriously looking at jobs at the local universities so when we get married I can finish school for free.

to be fair, I know this about pickle glass jars, not beer bottles since my dad had a job in a factory as a kid doing what Parsons said he did. but it's still the same principle ;-)

Years ago they *did* wash them out and reuse them .

Gross, but yeah. I would not want sometimes nails with that crap on it anywhere IN my person.
