You do know moving costs a lot in upfront expenses (regardless of distance) and moving cross country requires a job, right? Not mention to even rent a new place you need a not insignificant amount of money for security and such....

I think the rent is for ANY apartment, not one where YOU would want to live. I"m sure there are $1100 apartments, they just are in not-so-nice areas.

What size are you using to straighten I bought a HUGE one (1 1/2" I think) and it straightened my hair more than curling it, but it was so unwieldy and I burned myself a LOT (dropped it on my chest once!). The flat iron was easier since it wasn't just a circle of metal.

I thought *everyone* knew this—my hair isn't long enough for the tendrils shown in the picture but I always use a flat iron to give my hair a little curl under—only older women use an actual curling iron
