I replaced the yellow-ish incandescent bulbs on my 2012 with whiter, brighter LED bulbs. What of it? It's not like they are pointing into your windshield. They are a mere 16" from the ground.
Not true, often a base model is as desirable to a dealer as a loaded-up model. My guess is the 29,999 cars will be hard to find because demand will be there, unlike the S600 you mentioned, where they sell 1 a year.
I don't own one yet. I just bought my Forte Koup (which is wildly underrated, and a totally fantastic Sport Coupe that shares almost no driving character in common with it's lower-trim sedan brethren once you put a few mods on it) in July, so it's not a smart move. I sell them, and get to drive them all the time,…
It has a firmer feel than my Koup, but is completely different than my Integra, which, although firm, is much harsher. Feels more like my old Talon that had no pump than anything. The variable electronic rates really take some getting used to, but it also smooths it out quite a bit, while firming up under abuse. After…
Personally, I'm fine with the ST as-is without Revoknuckle. The torque steer is there, but manageable. TVC, Roll Stability, and sport mode TC make it a fun car that knows where it's going, and is manageable. Not saying it wouldn't be improved with the addition of Revoknuckle, and I'm hoping it's at least an option on…
I don't get it.
I would almost argue a complete opposite, though. Overseas, the market has more competition, is more saturated. Overseas, Ford is the import. Here, the only competition is the MazdaSpeed3, Golf R and GTI, and WRX. All have shortcomings, and none have ever really caught on here.
I haven't heard anything from a dealership end on it, so I don't believe you can get it yet, nor is everything finalized, performance-spec wise, but it is price-wise, so it's probably just not fully released yet, or fully in the supplier chain yet.
If Ford can't sell 200,000 of them, they pretty much don't want to build them. The ST in and of itself was already a gamble.
It absolutely is odd. My post was just trying to confirm that. Then again, so is a dealer putting out their own reviews, in comparison to most other dealers out there.
We have magnetic signs we hang on the sides if we're taking it to an event (auto show or club that we're sponsoring) or maybe DXing it. It's free advertising. The frequency they are used depends on the dealer and the person actually driving the car. If I do a DX, I usually just put a front dealer and rear plate frame…
Also, I don't think the bridge between Euro and US roads is as big as people make it out to be in certain parts of the US. I live in Southern Pennsylvania, home of windy roads, the Amish, and lots of farmland criss-crossed with big ridges to go up and down.
Well, I've been selling more ST's than Mustangs recently, but I also sell more STs than anyone (I'm the only one of 15 guys to deliver one this year, and I've sold more than one). Helps that I'm the youngest salesman here by a long while, so when I get people my age on an ST, I know how to show them a good time.…
Honestly, I think at around $99,000 - the price of a 2013 including delivery - that crown is waning. You know what has my eye on performance vs. price?
Not gonna argue with you on those points. The FWD Talon I had (in the low 300's with aggressive cams, turbo, etc) was wild to drive, almost unsafe. The ST does a good (not 10/10, but good) job of mitigating torque steer with it's Torque-Vectoring control. It has a sort of faux-e-diff that brakes the inside wheel,…
My father and grandfather had matching 1999 and 2000 740iLs. They were beautiful, and I spent much time and energy when I was a teen trying to get my dad to let me borrow it whenever possible. That design was perfection. Can't get into the new ones.
Well, yes, they want you to keep spending your money. I just sold a 2013 Navigator to a very nice lady who had a 2007. The cars were pretty much identical, and she knows in all likelihood that in the next 3 years, we'll see a new design. Did she still spend her money, knowing it's going to be outdated soon? You…
Technically, the stock FWD was slightly faster than the stock AWD one with more power, because of the weight, and both engines / drive lines had their own reliability problems, advantages, and both could be jacked up to high heaven (450 HP? Just add a bigger turbo, bro!).
One family can sue the other family.
