You forgot another great free source. Churches. Nearly all the big churches have gyms and equipped weight rooms. Many are called something like “Christian Life Center”. All I have seen are completely free to the public. About the only requirement is sign a liability release.

Making butter is so easy and so good, but it IS expensive. Cream is unreasonably high. Cheaper to just buy some good butter. Besides if I use my expensive cream, what will I have to put in my coffee? Priorities first.

I’m happy for you.

Always shop around. I found that Farm Bureau gave me a much better deal than the companies listed here. (You don’t have to be a farmer, but you do pay a $25 membership fee). They are a Mutual Company that policy holders actually own and sometimes get a profit bonus. Recently my car was totaled on a Tuesday while on a

LH is on top of it again. I just reinstalled CCleaner about 5 minutes before finding this. Wondered where it went.

Just a suggestion. Try shopping where working people shop that have to be outside. Wal-Mart, farm supply stores, Target, etc. Boots and outdoor shoes need to work. They don’t have to look bad, but they do have to work.

Maybe another idea for you is to put in a smaller shelf in the wasted space above your stuff. it can hold mugs, small bowls, spices, etc.

Have been tithing, (10% of income) for over 40 years now. Never regretted it for a minute. Now I enjoy the peace of knowing I have enough, and always will. There is great joy in giving.

Faststone is free and will do more than picassa ever did. Batch processing is easy once you get the hang of it and the image editing can be pretty good.

I do have one of the small ones like you mentioned. Also just bought an adapter built into a stylus for $1.00 at “Deals”. I guess the only advantage of this is that it’s not as easy to lose.

I use one of these and it is ok. Just as good and maybe more flexible is a simple USB to microUSB adapter that allows me to share from/to any USB drive.

Did this once and the wind whipped the tarp all night. Lots of scratched paint. Never again.

Just got a new to me 2013. I have all these sensors and they work fine. I just don’t know where they are to clean them. I know about the rear bumper radar buttons, and the back up camera, but where are the others?

As a pilot, all I do is open my mouth and breath, almost like a yawn. I think just holding your mouth open lets the pressure in you head, sinuses and ears equalize.

Some good ideas to make you think of others.

I think you missed one of the best apps. Try iOnRoad Lite. Good technology that the auto companies are just now incorporating in test cars. It warns you if you deviate from your lane, if you are approaching another vehicle too fast or too close, if you are exceeding the speed limit, serves as dash cam saving any crash

I agree, oil and filter are easy and cheap to change, but the dealer will check all the other fluids we normally skip. Differential oil on a rear wheel drive is critical, brake and power steering fluids, as well as certain grease fittings. Those are the things that a dealer will do that kind of make it worthwhile to

Try getting your oil at the farm store or even WalMart. Regular oil (5000 miles between changes) should be under $2.00 a quart. Filters under $10.00. Filters seem to be backed well by all the manufacturers and any brand sold by a big chain store will be fine. Always choose oil by it’s service classification (check

For the less dedicated of us, there are good sites and free apps that make us appear to be great cooks. I like Epicurious. Easy to find a dish (on several search levels), judge its ratings quickly, figure out if I have the ingredients, and just follow it on the phone or tablet. Then mark it as a favorite if it’s that

Seems you missed one of Chrome’s best features. Casting from your computer’s chrome browser. Anything you can get on the browser can be cast to the big TV screen. No phone (no timeouts) needed. Familiar easy interface and you can watch virtually anything you can find on the internet.
