Thanks, I do appreciate the reply and maybe you are right, but I just cannot present a plate looking like that to my guests. Seems so much like institutional food. The thought of it reminds me of the kids menu serving at a local diner.

“always add pasta to the sauce” ??
35! You have time to do anything... All of the past is just lessons on how to succeed now. After 45 I built and test flew 3 airplanes. Traveled to 4 continents and learned how to help people by serving with Red Cross and with church organizations..
You are exactly right about how insurance spreads the risks. However, it should be for sickness and injury, not cover somebody else’s recreation. And a lot of birth control comes in at $9-$20 without co-pays. (Often cheaper than with using insurance)
I can’t understand why I should pay for anyone else’s birth control thru my premiums? Nobody ever offered to pay for ours over the past 40 years, and I never would have even considered that anyone should. It cost what, $9.00 - $20.00 per month? If you’re going to do the deed, I would say it’s the most fun you can have…
But Romans wouldn't know good pasta. That comes from Northern Italy.
Also, coat those terminals with some oil (even motor oil) will stop that corrosion.
Always great to see people discover a little knowledge about something they know nothing about. Unfortunately it often leads to articles like this. Some mixture of truth tempered with their preconceived biases.
Thanks, I was going to comment about the people that shouldn’t have the right to go out in public, but you said it much better.
Like Phil Robertson said, “Out here, I am 911”.
Good timing. I was just getting ready to boil and pickle a bunch. I like to keep a quart jar full in the refrigerator, and if peeled and pickled they will last for weeks if not months.
Good idea, but why not just use a $7.00 plastic or metal garbage can. If you must use the heavy barrel, just get a used clean one.
But these are splices, not switches.
Isn't this what weatherbug has offered for years?
You may be right, but for me (old guy). The fastest benefit for me when I am out of shape is pushups. Maybe I can only do 3 or so really good ones to start with, but doing a few repetitions once a day, I can very quickly get up to 10, then pretty quickly on to more and faster. That would fit the definition of strength…
Discussing budgets and you would only consider a new car?
This sounds like further advice on money management to college freshmen from Visa.
I have used plain vegetable cooking oil for years for a quick shine. Very quick and easy. Never noticed any problem unless you go right out into heavy dust with oily shoes. For real scuffs I use regular shoe polish (the hard wax). Neatsfoot oil will preserve, soften, and waterproof any leather, but after using it, you…
We are all so fortunate to live where and how we live. I often go to a central american country where most families live on $100 a week or less. I guess this would say that middle class is around $5000. That economy is "tightly controlled".
